*flash back* (sensitive topics beware)

We where at war. Well I wasn't. My mother was, she was protecting me from my alcoholic father. He was abusive. At one moment it could end it all. They where yelling and I was forced to hide in a closet.
"WHATS YOUR PROBLEM. YOU LOVED ME" he yells
"THE CHILD ISNT YOURS" she yells
I was in shock.
"THEN WHOS IS IT"
"I WAS RAPED 2 MONTHS AFTER WE GOT MARRIED."
"SO SHES AN ACCIDENT"
"NO. SHE WAS A BLESSING"
I was crying to hard. Silent cry's weren't possible anymore.
i hear her screams become faint
I walk out of the closet and see my father standing over something. I duck underneath the counter and crawl. I see my moms body.
"MOMMY" I yell grabbing her head, I was 8 at the time.
My dad snapped out of his delusions and picked my Mother up,
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING" I yell
"TAKING HER TO A DAMN HOSPITAL YOU LITTLE SHIT" he yells
I grab my pink teddy bear that my mother gave me and run out of the house. I get in the back of the car crying and holding Bethany, yes I named my teddy bear Bethany
"Daddy is she-
"SHUT UP YOU LITTLE MISTAKE" he yells. We pull into the hospital parking lot and she was instantly brought into the emergency room.
"What happened" they ask
"I just found her like that"
"NO YOU DIDNT. YOU STABBED MOMMY" I yell with frustration
"I would never hurt mommy baby," he says crouching down to reach my height which was like 2 feet tall.
"Then why was she screaming in pain, I'm not stupid this isn't the first time you hurt mommy" I say
"Sweetie your making things up" he says a little bit more sternly
"Where gonna take your daughter into questioning" the officer says
I follow the officer to a room.
"So you said this wasn't the first time?" He says
"When I was younger daddy would come home really dizzy, and he'd get mad at mommy and start hurting her,"
"When did this start?" He ask
"Like... 9 years ago" I say
"How old are you sweetie" he ask
"I'm this many" I say holding up 8 fingers.
"Then how do you know it's been going on for 9 years?"
"Mommy told me, "remember no matter how long even if it's 9 years we love him" she was referring to him hurting her"
"Has daddy ever hurt you?"
"No." I lie. It was one time. He just tripped me.
"Ok, are you sure"
"He tripped me. But that was a small thing and an accident."
"Ok that's all."
"Is my mommy gonna be ok?" I ask
"I'm not a nurse, ask them" he says taking my hand and leading me outside to my father and the nurse he was yelling at.
"WHAT DO YOU ,MEAN SHE NEVER MADE IT"
"You brought her on to late sir. She lost to much blood."
I hugged the officers leg crying.
"Sir. We need to take you away for a little bit." The officer says I let go of the officers leg
"Where will I stay" I ask him
"Does mommy have a sister"
"No." I say
"What about a brother"
"Yeah" I smile, I always like uncle Lucas
"How old is he" he ask
"17" I say
"Ok where gonna send you to stay with him for a little."
"YAY" i yell jumping around
"Sweetie, you love me right?" Daddy ask
"No fuck you" i say
The officer and nurse laugh a bit and I smile.
"How are we gonna get ahold of Uncle Lucas." I say
"Where gonna call him" he says
"You have uncle Lucas number!" I ask
"Yeah we do" the officer says
"Hello, is this Lucas speaking?"
......
"Ok, we have some bad news, your sisters sadly passed away, and her husband is going to be away for awhile"
.....
"We need you to take... what's your name sweetie." He ask
"Harley" I say
"Harley. We need you to take her for awhile"
.....
"Ok thank you sir." He says "here's the location of the station we'll be at. *********"
....
"Good day sir"
....
He hands me the phone.
"Hi uncle Lucas."
"Hi sweetie, I'll see you soon ok" He says
"Ok" I say and hand the phone back to the officer
"bye"
...
He hangs up and daddy was put in the back of the car and I was in front.
We where just blasting some music and I was singing along in my, child voice.
We arrived there and I saw uncle Lucas standing there. I run over to him forgetting my teddy in the front seat.
I jump into his arms "hi."
"Hey"
