We had practiced all night, I almost fell asleep multiple times,
"Can we just continue this tomorrow, I'm so tired" I groan
"Fine," Hermione says and walks out. I fall back and fall asleep without even changing,

-next day-

I woke up to Athena and Val jumping on and Bella trying to stop them
"jesus Christ I'm tired."
"Come on, we got breakfast!" They all scream excluding Bella
"Fine fine. Let me get dressed" I say and walk into the bathroom with my sweater and robe.
I quickly change and put my black boots on and walk down stairs to see the girls bickering back and forth.
"Guys let's get breakfast" I say rubbing my eyes
We all walk to the great hall to be greeted by a few new faces. Well it was a large group crowding the door.
"Move" I say lightly
They don't even flinch
"I SAID MOVE IT" I yell they all create a path letting me notice what they where hiding. Oliver sitting there with a card. I look around seeing if they where anyone's,
"Harley" he says catching my attention.
"Could you like move." He says
I move to the side.
"No like move towards me." He says
"Oh" I say and walk over to him. He hands me the card

One day it'll be Harley wood. Sounds pretty good not gonna lie. I mean this with all the respect possible. I'm going to win.

"You will not win mr.Wood" I say with a smirk
"That's what you think. I've got a big surprise" he says whispering in my ear,
We all sat down and I was besides Oliver. It felt nice sitting like this again. I felt his hand brush against my thigh. I look down at his hand who was not sat on my thigh,
"So, what song are you doing Oliver?" Athena ask
"Oh, it's a surprise" he says
"Come on tell us. It's not like we can change the song, it's tomorrow night." I say
"It's a surprise." He says again. I pat his hand that was on my thigh signaling to get it off my lap. He squeezes making me gasp a little,
"You ok?" Val ask
"Yeah, I got to use the bathroom. I'll be right back girls" I say and walk out as calmly as possible
I walk into the bathroom and stand there for a second,
"That was funny" I hear a male voice. AKA Oliver
"That was NOT funny. That could've ended very badly" I say angrily
"Oh I'm sorry," he says laughing
"Ollie, can I ask you something?"
"Of course Hars" he responds
"Did you actually cheat?" I ask
He shakes his head no.
"So you lied?"
"I did it to protect you" he says
"From what? from who?" I ask
"Me..." he says quietly
"We dated for almost 1 and a half years, AND you choose to break up with me because.... WHAT" i ask confused as hell
"Harley. My parents aren't that great" he says
"Couldn't be worse then my father."
"No, but my fathers willing to take a gun to someones head" he says
"And you think I couldn't handle it?" I ask
"No one reacts well with a gun to there head" Oliver says
"Yeah... right." I say looking away
"Is there something your not telling me" he ask
"Why... FUCKING WHY DID YOU BREAK UP WITH ME. I'm a mess. I'm a mess without you." I say almost falling
"Harley im sorry" he says wrapping his arms around my torso to prevent me from falling.
"Why, what was your dad gonna do if he f- wait why would he hold a gun to my head?" I ask
"If he found out I was dating someone."
"And who said he'd find out?" I ask
He smiles at the thought
"Ollie. You don't understand the hell ive been through" I say tears run down
"Hars, I don't think I ever stopped loving you" he says
"Me to. That's why I couldn't bring myself to kiss Draco" I say
"Ew of all people Draco." He ask
"Hey. I knew you hated him." I say
"Come on, we got to get back to the others."
"I'm staying here I need some air." I say to Oliver who kissed my head and walked out.
I sat against the wall crying,
"You know, he's not worth the tears" I female voice says AKA moaning Mertly (idk how to spell it but I'd hope you know what I meant)
"What?" I ask
"He's such a nice guy, he seems to really like you" she says
"Really?" I ask standing up and wiping my eyes
"He was willing to protect you from his parents cause he loved you" she says
I smile and nod
"I have to go." I say and run out
"GO GET HIM" she yells before I'm completely out of her sight. I walk into the great hall and over to the gryffindore table
I grab Oliver by the collar pulling him up and press my lips against his. He backs up stunned by my actions but kisses back shortly after. His arms wrap around my waist pulling me as close as possible. I felt the world stop, as if we where in a movie. Fireworks in the background.
We pulled away and everyone CHEERED at the top of their lungs.
"What was that for?" He whispered.
"Because I'm not loosing someone I love." I say
He hugs me. "I love you to."
We sit down and I couldn't stop smiling.
"Ok, but as I was saying before that AWESOME performance" Athena says and I glare at her,
"Hey at least I wasn't scared to do it," I say referring to her being to scared to talk to Fred, yet everyone can tell he likes her back.
"Oh shut up" she groans hitting her head on the table
"You ok there?" Fred ask from besides Oliver.
"Y-yeah. Couldn't be better" Athena stumbles in words
"Seems like someone's flustered." I say making her lightly slap the side of my head,
"Ouch. That hurt" I say rubbing the part where she lightly hit in a sarcastic matter,
"Whatever, but tomorrow you know you kinda have a sing off to do." Bella reminds us.
"Oh yeah, I forgot completely"
We had finished breakfast and we where heading back to the common room when Oliver picked me up.
"OLIVER." i yell as he runs through the crowded halls.
"OLIVER PUT ME DOWN" I squeal in his arms.
He sets me down in front of the door that was covered by the fat lady.
"Hello" I greet
"Hello kids" she says and I say the magic word. She opens the door and I lay down on the couch.
"Harley, you need to practice. It's tomorrow evening" hermione says
I stand up "oh yeah, later Oliver" I say and skip away,
"You coming hermione, Athena, Bella, and Val?" I ask as I reach the top step.
I hear a rampage of feet running up the steps
We practice yet again till I almost fall asleep.
"Ok ok. Hermione, she's almost gonna die, and she needs sleep for tomorrow." Athena says seeing me doze of.
"Ok, ok. Good luck Harley,"
"Thanks hermione," I say and change into a tank top and shorts outfits.

-lunch the next day-
Oliver and I stood outside the grand halls door,
"What song are you doing?" I ask for the 8th time
"Shh" he says
"let me introduce out to finalist, Oliver Wood, and Harley Johnson," Dumbledore speaks and we open the doors to walk in.
We walk in side by side everyone cheering.
"Ok, how this will work. Oliver and Harley will face each other. One will sing, the other will LISTEN. You may applaud after one of them I'd sone finishing, then they will switch." Dumbledore says
"Ok, you can go first" I say to Oliver
"No, well save best for last" he says
"That's why I'll go last," I say
"Oliver Wood will be going first." Mrs. McGonagal speaks.
"Ok." He says and begins

He lets out a breath of air, I don't think he knew he was holding.
"Did you know that was my favorite song?" I ask
He nods with a smile
"Who told y- Athena" I say to myself
"Mhm" Oliver says
"Ok Harley Johnson you may go now" Mrs, McGonagal says
I nod and begin

"Jeez kids are good these days" Mrs McGonagal sighs walking over to Dumbledore
"You sound like an angel." Oliver says as we turn to face Dumbledore and Mrs, McGonagal
"Thanks, and you sound like heaven." I say and I could feel his smile.
"Ok. Where gonna need a few minutes" Dumbledore says and we walk to Gryffindor table. We sit down and Athena high fives me
"You guys sound amazing." Fred says
"Thanks" we say In Sync

-few minutes later-

"Ok we have made a VERY difficult decision." Mrs, McGonagal speaks and Oliver and I walk up so where facing them.
I could feel my heart racing
"Harley Johnson, and Oliver Wood. You guys did great" Mrs. McGonagal says and everyone starts cheering. We both smile wide.
"But, Harley. I'm glad to say you won." Mrs McGonagal says
I jump up excitedly
"YES" I yell spinning around till Oliver places his hands on my shoulder.
"Jesus, your excited." he says and I hug him.
"Congrats" he says
"thanks. You did great as well" I say
"Congratulations Mrs. Johnson." Dumbledore says
"Thanks." I say And skip down the hall to gryffindor
"YES" Athena yells hugging me over the table.
"Ok. Thank you. But food" I say sitting back down beside Oliver
"Told you you wouldn't win" I say lightly shoving him
"Hey. I tried."
"And your saying I didn't?"
"Yep. Your a natural" he says as food appears
