As Rab spun me around, I laughed. I was enjoying myself very much. Everything was so exhilarating! The dancing, the people, It was all that I had imagined, and more!

The dance went on for a a few more minutes. Once finished, we bowed our gratitude, and left the floor. Arm in Arm, Rab and I returned to the group.

"Enjoy yourself?" Mason glanced at me.

"Yes, it was wonderful."

Rab smiled at me, giving a nod.

"I'm sorry to say, I'm feeling rather tired." I frowned. "It was nice meeting all of you."

"Duchess Georgina." They bowed.

I curtseyed before I walked off.

"Let me join you." Mason trailed to my side.

I held my small hands together in front of my dress. With my head held high, I walked down to the carriage.

Mason followed by my side in silence. The air was crisp, with the smell of autumn leaves.

"Did you enjoy yourself?" He opened the door, allowing me first.

"Most certainly, It was delightful to meet all your friends."

"I wouldn't call them friends." He gave a nervous chuckle. "More like acquaintances."

I gently lifted my head in agreement. The ride was rather quiet. That was alright though, I needed some quiet after that extravagant event. I sighed gently, brushing the loose strands of hair out of my face.

As we reached the house, I folded my hands into my lap, sitting up.

"Allow me." Mason stepped out in front of me as the carriage came to a halt. He jumped out, extending his hand.

I grabbed his hand, stepping out. "Thank-"

I was caught off by the forceful nature of his lips pressing onto mine. My arms flailed up onto his back, holding him as he pressed me into the carriage. I gasped as he let go, staring into my eyes.

"Mason..." I said breathless.

"Shhh.." He placed his fingers to my lips. "No need for question." He walked towards the house; I followed close behind him.

"Mason! Explain, please!" I jogged to his side, hiking my dress up.

He didn't speak till we were inside. He blocked me against the wall, breathing shallowly as he stared at me.

"You want me to explain? Fine." He grumbled. "There's normally only one reason why one kisses one, because they like them."

My eyes widened slightly. "How?" I was shocked. "We only just met."

"And yet it's like I've known you for years."

Biting my lip, I ducked my head down. I felt his finger caress my jaw line, lifting my head up, forcing my eyes to meet his. "Say something."

"What Is there to say? I'm very flattered, but I don't know what else to say."

He slumped his shoulders, dropping his arms, freeing me from the enclosure he made with his body. "If you insist."

I watched him walk off, straightening his frame as he left the corridor.

I licked my lips, placing my hand to my chest as I gave a shaky, nervous breath. I felt encouraged knowing somebody liked me. But Mason? He's too much. He's more than I could wish for. I knew Mason was better than I, yet he still chose me. I just didn't know If I could choose him. He chose me, but for what reason? I was confused, yet I had this strange feeling inside. My heart was beating, racing if you dare. It was beating so fast It was if it would burst. I sighed, giving a big smile.

I slowly walked up to my room, my eyes beaming, my skin gleaming, and my smile widening.  Opening the door, I walked inside.

"Molly...undo this dress."

"Yes ma'am." She came running into my room.

As she slowly undid my dress, I thought to myself. I need to find Mason..  My mind uttered

"Molly, hurry up!" I shouted with eagerness.

I felt her fingers pick up speed as she was removing the dress.

"Give me the trousers and a shirt."

As she handed me them one by one, I threw them on quickly, not bothering to remove my corset.

"Shoes! My riding ones!"

She threw me my shoes. I caught them, slipping my feet into them.

"Thanks Molly!"

"Your welcome, Miss."

I ran out of the room, down the stairs, my hair falling from it's bun as I ran outside as fast as I could.

"Horse! Get me my horse!" I yelled as I approached the stables.

As I ran inside, I grabbed my crop, and my helmet from the other side of the stables. Once I had arrived back to the front, Balor was tacked up. I thrusted myself onto his back, cracking my crop, forcing Balor into a full gallop.

"Go, go!" I shouted, as he ran.

I exhaled, my hair falling down into a mess. My shirt blew in the wind as Balor pressed forward.

"C'mon!" I hollered, thrashing the reins, pressing him further.

Balor's nostrils flared as I pressed him harder. Getting out of breath, I exhaled, shaking my head.

"Woah boy!" I pulled his reins, jumping down as I came to the front of Mason's house.

"Mason, Mason!" I shouted as I ran inside, looking around.

"Mason!"

"What is it?" He ran from his study glancing around.

"Mason!" I ran towards him, panting.

"Did you run here?"

"No, I rode."

"Why?"

"For this." I stood on my tip toes, pressing my lips firmly against his.

I let go, gazing into his emerald eyes.

"What was that for?"

"Because..." I hesitated. "I love you."

His brow rose. Arching his back, he bent down, kissing me in return.

"I'm happy to hear it..."He whispered into my ear. "I'm glad this wasn't a one way street."

"It never was." I said out of breath.

I smiled, pulling myself into his embrace. He held me there, hand on my waist and one on my head. I listened to his racing heart as I breathed heavily. A large grin appeared on my lips.

"I found him.." I thought to myself.
