“Yah! Reese, open this fucking door! Fucking open it!” Lisa continued to say as she bangs her fist against the glass door of my room. “You aren’t leaving me like this! Take it! Take my kidney! I don’t care if I only have one! Take it!” She said again, hiccupping there.
She now knows. Hobi might have probably told her. She was born with only one kidney. If I accepted that, I will have 5 more years. And she won’t have any. No, I am not taking that ridiculous trade. Like I’ve said. If there is someone who will live between us, that’s going to be her.
She deserved to feel the happiness she deserved. I cannot take her away from Jungkook. I shifted my eyes on him who is watching the love of his life crying on the floor, begging for me to receive what she wanted to give. My husband is also standing there next to him, his eyes fresh from tears. I had to end this agony. I am too weak to continue and to go on.

Lisa shakes her head. “No, no, no! Stop saying that! I need you here with me, Reese. I need you here.” She said as she presses her forehead against the glass door. My heart just wrenches watching her there. “I can’t lose you too..”
“Hey, Pauper. Do you remember when we used to talk about Dodge Viper?” I asked, making her bite her lip as she continues to cry.
“I do, of course I do, Princess.” I heard her answered as she sits there, leaning on the glass door like how I do too. If you will take a look on us, we definitely looked like sitting next to a mirror. We have the same face but we differ in a lot of ways.
“I was picturing him in my head when you were describing him. Big-doe looking eyes, shallow dimples on his cheeks, faint scar on his cheek and his bunny front teeth. I actually thought, he must’ve looked handsome because of how you smile.” I said, looking at my sister. Her eyes are empty with all the blurriness she can see. At some point, I am glad she cannot see right now. She doesn’t deserve to watch me lost all the life I have lived throughout the years.
She was the reason why I got this far. But just like in her own world, my journey has it’s finish line. I was waiting for my sunset, sitting on a bench with the sky painted with orange mixed with titanium white. Just a little bit of brush strokes to make it look more dramatic. For years, I lived under the stars and the dark sky, time will come I’d have to close my eyes underneath them again.
