Chapter 9

Y/N POV- Bucharest

Me and Steve stood in Bucky's apartment all suited up in case a fight started. My dad picks up a notebook on top of his fridge and starts to look through it.

Y/N:"Hey. We are here to help him not look through his stuff"

Sam:"Heads up guys, German Special Forces, approaching from the south"

Steve:"Understood" I heard a door open and close from behind us. We turned around and I saw that it was Bucky. "Do you know me?"

Bucky:"Your Steve. I read about you in a museum"

Sam:"They have sat the perimeter"

Steve:"I know your nervous. And you have plenty of reason to be. But your lying"

Bucky:"I wasn't in Vienna. I don't do that anymore"

Steve:"Well, the people who think you did are coming here now. And they're not planning on taking you alive" I put my gun in my thigh holster and walked over to Bucky and gave him a side hug. 

Bucky:"That's smart. Good strategy"

Sam:"Their on the roof. I'm compromised" We hear footsteps coming up the stairs.

Steve:"This doesn't have to end in a fight, Buck"

Bucky:"I always ends in a fight" He took off his left glove revealing his metal arm.

Sam:"5 seconds"

Steve:"You pulled me from the river. Why?"

Bucky:"I don't know"

Sam:"3 seconds!"

Steve:"Yes, you do"

Sam:"Breach! Breach! Breach!" A grenade flies through the window and I kick it to my dad who covers it with his shield, containing the blast. 

Soldier:"Schieß die Tür auf! (Shoot the door!)" The cops slam a battering ram into the door. Bucky picks up the mattress, shielding himself and me from the attack from the window. He runs up to a table and throws it to block the door. Cops swing in from the windows. I pull a rug from under one of the cops sending him flying. Bucky slams a cop into the wall.

Steve:"Buck, stop! Your gonna kill someone!" Bucky slams Steve to the ground and punches a hole in the floor. "I'm not gonna kill anyone" He grabs a backpack from the hole and throws it out the window, while I take out the remaining soldier. They get up and you use your powers to shield them from the gunfire.

Bucky:"What the h-how did you do that"

Y/N:"I'll explain later" Bucky shoves Steve to knock the cop down. Bucky holds up his metal hand and repels bullets then slams a cop into shelves. He picks up a large cement brick and slams it into a cop knocking him out. Steve is fighting off a cop on the balcony. Bucky and I run out to the stairwell to see a cop coming down from a skylight from a wire Bucky grabs the cop's gun and slams him into the wall. I notice the battering ram laying on the floor so I pick it up and bash a few cops to the ground. More of the police team come running up the stairs. Bucky jumps on the zipline guy and swings him down a level.

Soldier:"Der Verdächtige ist ausgebrochen. Er ist am östlichen Treppenschacht. (Suspect has broken containment! He's headed down the east stairwell!)" I grab the radio and crush it with my powers. Steve runs by and jumps down to Bucky's level. I do the same. Bucky continues to punch cops. He tosses one over the railing and Steve catches him, stopping the cop from falling. He looks at Bucky wearily.

Steve:"Come on, man"

Y/N:"Quit your whining dad!" I yelled while fighting off a few guards.

Bucky:"Wait...dad?"

Y/N:"I'll explain later"

Bucky:"You better" Bucky and I were fighting off cops until one aimed at us. Suddenly My dad's shield was stuck in the wall I nodded at him a followed Bucky. We ran along a corridor and jump out a window. Bucky tumbles over while I use my powers to slow my fall. He finds his backpack and starts we start running. A man dressed in a black cat suit slams Bucky from behind, knocking him down.

Y/N:"Hey! Hands off!" I say as I run towards him. I go to kick him but he moves out of the way making his way towards Bucky. I fall flat on my face but spring back up to see what he is doing. The man extends long pointed nails from his suit and attacks Bucky. He fights back but is slammed up against a wall. The man swipes his claws and spins, Bucky just barley getting away. he grabs a metal bar to protect himself. Steve looks down watching them fight as falcon swoops by.

Steve:"Sam, southwest rooftop"

Sam:"Who the h*lls the other guy?"

Steve:"About to find out" He leaps off the balcony down onto the neighboring building as a chopper flies up. The man lunges at Bucky with his claws, but Bucky grabs his wrists. A soldier fires a machine gun from the chopper. The ammo bounces off Black Panther's armored suit. 

Steve:"Y/N. Sam"

Y/N+Sam:"Got it" Sam flies down and I fly up and we shove the chopper off course then It swoops down to street level. I fly back down to help Bucky. He breaks free of his attacker, slings his bag on his bag and we jump down a level. Steve and the man follow us. Me and Buck jump down through an opening and land in an underpass. We run through the traffic, both Steve and the man following us. A Special Forces Vehicle pursues them.  

GSG-9 Driver:"Stand down! Stand down!" The vehicle closes in, blue lights flashing. My dad leaps onto the vehicle and splinters the windshield. The driver stops, Steve yanks him from the car and kicks the windshield out and drives off. Bucky and I run over the top of a speeding car, the man is a few cars behind us, he leaps onto the back of the 4X4 my dad is driving. Steve swerves from side to side, trying to throw him off.

Steve:"Sam, I can't shake this guy"

Sam:"Right behind you" Several police cars join the case. Steve side-sweeps another car and keeps driving. Bucky and I reach a fork in the road and we face the oncoming traffic. We leap over the barrier. A motorbike speeds toward us. Bucky grabs the handlebar and spined around the bike in mid-air, throwing off the driver.

Bucky:"Get on!" I jump of the back of the motorbike and hold onto his waist To help me from falling off. We ride away sending cars careering  out of the way. Steve keeps on our tail with the mystery man still hold on to the back of the 4X4. They all rocket through another underpass. The man leaps off the 4X4 and onto our motorcycle. Bucky leans down and I tighten my grip. He kicks off the man, straightens up the bike and we ride off.

Y/N:"Don't ever do that again"

Bucky:"can't promise that" He laughed. I reach into Bucky's bag and grab a sticky bomb, I threw it up to the roof at the end of the underpass, bringing down tons of rubble. The man in black jumped from somewhere knocking me and Buck off the motorcycle. I get up to see The man trying to attack Buck. Steve and I run toward Buck and the man. I use my powers to push myself forward and pull the man off of Bucky. All of us now standing, staring at each other. Armed police cars surround us. War Machine flies down.

Rhodey:"Stand down, now" Bucky stands up beside me and Steve. "Congratulations Rogers Family, your criminals" The police move in and force Buck to his knees.

Y/N:"Don't hurt him!"

Steve:"Y/N!" Steve whispers to me. A cop moves toward me and puts my hand behind my back. The man retracts his claws and pulls off his mask revealing his face, it's T'Challa.

Rhodey:"Your highness"
