Lagos (2016)
3rd POV
"Alright what do you see?" Steve asked over the comms.
"Standard beat cops. Small station. Quiet street. It's a good target" Wanda Maximoff answered.
"There's an ATM in the south corner, which means.."
"Cameras" you but in."Both cross streets are one way" Steve stated."So, compromised escape routes" Wanda added. "Means our guy doesn't care about being seen, he isn't afraid to make a mess on the way out" Steve said. "You see that Range Rover halfway up the block?" you asked. "Yeah, the red one, its cute" Wanda replied.
"It's also bulletproof, which means private security, which means more guns, which means more headaches for somebody. Probably us" Nat explained. "You guys know me and Y/N can move things with our minds, right?" Wanda said sipping her coffee. "Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature." Nat insisted.
"Anybody ever tell you you're a little paranoid?" Sam asked from the roof of a building. "Not to my face. Why? Did you hear something?" Nat responded. "Eyes on target, folks. This is the best lead we've had on Rumlow in 6 months. I don't wanna lose him," Steve commanded. "If he sees us coming that won't be a problem. He kind of hates us" Sam said. You watch as a garbage truck pushes its way through traffic, no regard for pedestrians or other vehicles. "Sam, see that garbage truck, tag it" You insisted. You watch as a small drone flies underneath the truck. "Give me an X-ray" Sam ordered to the drone "That truck's loaded for max weight. And the driver's armed"
"It's a battering ram" you added. "Go now" Steve ordered.
