A/N: Hey guys, thank you for the votes on my latest chapter. I now have 1.7k reads, 45 votes and ten comments on Fifty Shades of Camren. I love the range the story has so far. I hope you guys will like this chapter. I am still figuring out how to end the story and how long I want it to be. I read all the chapters I wrote, and I love its flow and how the branches are, so I don't want to make too many changes. Please tell me what you guys think and what are your favourite chapters so far.

Chapter 18 Promise.

Camila's POV

I found the perfect ring I wanted to give Lauren as a gift; I think the ring is cute and straightforward. It is beautiful. It has a purple stone on it. I figured out her birthday is coming soon. She never talked about her birthday when it was or if she likes celebrating it at all. But I did a little digging, I used to be a spy, so I asked Rob for some help. I also found her old Tumblr blog online, and it said her birthdate on it. Hopefully, I wasn't wrong for stalking, but I did it with good intentions. 

I am in love with Lauren Jauregui. Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao Jauregui sounds like a cute name for me when we might get married. I've been thinking about it since I divorced Shawn. I don't want to rush into marriage, but I also am ready for a long-term relationship. That is why I bought the ring; to promise her that I will be her official girlfriend until marriage.

"I love it. I think Lauren will love it too. You go! Girl, I can't wait to throw the bachelorette party for Karla Jauregui." 

"I am so excited to give it to her. I hope you and Normani will make it. It is a small get together just Ally, Normani, Tristan, Brad, Connor and James." 

"I can't wait to meet Lauren's friends. Are you sure they are cute"? 

"Yes, DJ, they are cute. You will like them." 

"Ok, I trust you for now." 

"Dinah Lauren is here. I have to go hide the ring before she sees it." 

"Ok, bye, talk to you later, Chan-choo." 

"Later Chee-chee."

I hung up the phone and went to hide my ring in a shoebox and put it in my closet on the top shelf. Using a stool, of course, I am short. Lauren is tall, probably. She won't even notice it or care to check. 

"What's a chee-chee?". Lauren asked as she heads up the stairs into our room.

"Oh, it's a nickname for Dinah. We call each other that when we heard the phrase on a vine." 

"That sounds like something you'll do." Lauren laughed.

"Lauren, I have a confession to make." 

"Uh oh." 

"No, no, it's not bad. I sort have been stalking you earlier to find out when your birthday is." 

"Seriously, Camz, you're spying on me again? You know you could've asked." 

"I know, but you never talked about your birthday. Do you even have plans?". 

"Probably." 

"I want to make your birthday extra special, babe." 

"You don't have to go through so much trouble. You know I will be fine with just a pizza, you me cuddling and watching the Friends marathon on TV."

"That's not special babe, that's a Tuesday night." 

"Please, can I plan something special, babe? I promise you will enjoy yourself." 

Lauren took a few seconds to think about it.
