It's Finally Time Lauren Knows Everything

I am finally inviting Lauren to my house, I drove her over and we are going to sit and talk and get things settled. After my divorce with Shawn, I am now free, free to do whatever I want free to be me and live my life how I want to live it. But first things first, I have to tell Lauren everything. She wants answers and I knew that this moment will come, but I didn't know it will be so soon.

We walked in the front door. She looked at my house with her wide eyes and I bet she likes it.

"Wow! You have a nice house, It's so big".

"Thanks. But I'm going to sell it, I'm planning on selling everything in this house and moving somewhere smaller."

"Why I would move here and never leave if I could."

"This has always been Shawn's house. Everything in here is Shawn's."

"Speaking of Shawn?". Lauren asked.

I sat down beside her on the couch and sigh.

"Yeah? You can ask me anything I will be honest with everything and even if it might hurt my feelings".

"Were you gay before you married Shawn?".

"Yes, I mean; I was always gay even during my marriage. I know it's wrong and it sounds bad but I didn't even want to marry him in the first place".

"So you were forced into marriage and working for him too?".

"Yeah, sounds complicated right?".

"Where was he when you guys have to work together at night?".

"He was out, apparently he was selling weapons illegally to like, con shops and drug dealers and who knows what. He should be getting arrested, and when he does he will be calling me; telling me to go in his emergency safe and use the money to bail him out. I know this sounds cruel but he's better off locked up, I will be using the money to buy myself a smaller house. He owes me that much".

Lauren sipped her cup of tea.

"I am so sorry you have to go through that." She apologized, that was sweet of Lauren to apologize, but I am the one that should be apologizing.

"No, you don't need to apologize to me, you shouldn't. Not after all the shit, I've put you through. If anyone's sorry it's me. While I was working with Shawn I started working as an FBI with Shawn's bodyguard/agent Robert. He is in charge of busting illegal criminals. During his investigation he found you, he knows who you are and what you are doing and it was my job to be your distraction. I had to watch over you and tell Rob everything, he needed proof and information before he could arrest you for drug dealing. But I was the one getting distracted with my work. I was falling in love with you, ever since I saw your picture on the computer that Robert introduced me too, something just clicked. I thought that you were pretty, beautiful, hot and maybe you weren't gay. But you are, and the minute I found out that you were gay too I quickly made the move. I wanted you to be my girlfriend and I still do."

"Really, you still want me to be your girlfriend? I thought you would've broken up with me I was getting questioned by the lawyer and that my life would have been over. But to be honest, my life would have been over if I didn't have you in it."

I instantly got butterflies in my stomach when she said that. I couldn't believe that she was in love with me. I didn't really think that I would ever find love but I did and I'm glad that it's Lauren.

"I love you". I said confidently. "and I mean it. Lauren, I think I'm in love with you".

Lauren's eyes lit up when she said the "L" word. She wanted to be the one to say it first in the relationship, but she didn't have the guts to do it.
