The little bell over the shop door rings out throughout the shop as the wheelchaired mutant enters, or tries to. The wheel of his wheelchair got caught on the door. Steve, who had just arrived with Rebecca, jumps at the chance to help the man. Steve had been walking Killian to school for the past few days now after seeing you struggling on Tuesday morning. Olive was off on a small anniversary vacation with her boyfriend and wouldn't be in all week, so you had no one to look over the shop while you take Killian to school. Steve was your lifesaver that morning and offered to just walk Killian to school for the rest of the week while he was at it.

"Thank you," the man smiles.

"Oh, don't mention it," Steve waves off. "Just doing my civic duty."

"Killian, hurry up and eat," your voice rings out from the back. "Captain Rogers and Rebecca are here to take you to school."

A muffled "Ok" could be here as Killian shoves bites of his chocolate chip pancakes into his mouth. Steve chuckles and pushes the wheel-chaired man up to the counter. Rebecca follows closely behind. Soon you emerge from the back that headed to the shop's upstairs apartment. A face splitting smile appears on your face at the sight of the Professor.

"Professor X! How are you? I've missed you this week!" You greet the man.

"I'm wonderful, my girl. How are you and your boy?" The Professor smiles.

"We're great," you answer. "Thanks for loaning us that Treasure Island book from your library. Killian loves it."

"Anytime, (Y/N)," the professor says.

"Oh. I just realized. Professor Xavier, I'd like you to meet Steve Rogers and his niece, Rebecca," you introduce them. "Steve, Rebecca, meet Professor Charles Xavier, the smartest man I know and the headmaster and founder of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters."

"Did you say, Steve Rogers? As in Captain America, Steve Rogers?" The professor lights up.

"That she did. It's nice to meet you, Professor," Steve smiles politely and shakes the professor's hand.

"It's incredible to meet you again Captain Rogers. I doubt you would remember me from our first in counter," Professor smiles. "My parents took me and my foster sister to see you once when I was a boy. I was twelve."

"Well, then it's nice to see you again," Steve smiles. "I felt like I kind of recognize the name, but couldn't exactly place it."

"Hey, Professor. Don't you have a collection of his comics that you collected from back in your day? All first edition, right?" you smirk.

"That I do," Professor Xavier laughs. "Two of them are even signed."

"Professor, Professor!" Killian shouts as he runs up to the man from behind the counter.

"Killian! How are you, my boy? Staying out of trouble I hope?" The professor jokes.

Killian smiles and nods. "Did you meet my friend, Rebecca? Her dad is an Avenger like Uncle Sam!"

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah!"

"Hey, Killian," Rebecca pipes up.

"Hi, Rebecca! Hi, Captain Rogers!" Killian exclaims.

"Hey, kid," Steve smiles. "Ready to go to school?"

"Uh-huh," Killian nods. "See you later, Professor!"

"See you later, Killian," Professor smiles. "It was nice talking to you, Steve."

"Likewise," Steve smiles and shakes Professor Xavier's hand. He then turns to you. "Hey (Y/N), I'll be back to grab my coffee after I bring these two to school. Is that alright?"
