You let out a content sigh as you finish off the last of your fries. Your head is still resting on Bucky's shoulder and Bucky had built up enough confidence to at least gently rub your back to ease away the tension left over there. Bucky is genuinely surprised that you eat all of those fries by yourself. It was not a small order by any means and you wouldn't even let Bucky have a single one. You were somehow able to catch him trying to steal one right under your nose. Bucky looks down at you, happy to see you so content, but chuckles when he notices that you had cheese on the side of your lips. Instinctively, Bucky wipes the cheese off your face with his thumb. You look at him in slight shock and causing him to freeze.

"Uh... sorry. You had some cheese there and... sorry," Bucky mutters shyly.

"No, no. Don't apologize. I would have probably done the same," you admit.

Bucky smiles and nods. The two of you sit in silence for a while. Bucky's hand rubs gentle soothing circles on your back. Your head is still resting on his shoulder as you finish soaking up the last of the energy you need. Bucky would be an idiot if he didn't admit that he was a little disappointed when you started to stand up. Although, he kind of was because he would definitely never admit to that. He denied himself to accept the fact he was disappointed when you started to move away from him.

"Well, I should probably..." you start to say before a shy voice interrupts your thoughts.

"(Y/N)? Is that really you?" The voice is slightly accented and you turn towards it. Your eyes widen when you make eye contact with the speaker.

"Wanda? How?" You gasp. "I thought you died in the Sokovia bombings."

Bucky is more confused than ever. You stand and rush over to the girl. Wanda hugs you and nearly breaks down. The last time you saw each other was a few months before the bomb hit her childhood home and killed her parents. Her father had been Peter Maximoff or Quicksilver, another mentor and almost father figure to you. Had you known she survived, you would have gone to get her, but by the time you got there, she had been gone. Wanda had been like a little sister to you. The twins had been a great deal younger than you. You hug her tightly as you feel her shaking.

"Shhh, shhh. It's alright, Wanda," you whisper. "I'm here. You're safe. We both are."

"But..."

"Shhh. It doesn't matter. I'm so sorry I didn't try harder to find you," you whisper. "I've missed you."

"Um... what's going on here? Am I the only one missing something here?" Someone asks from behind Wanda.

You and Wanda pull away and wipe away falling tears. The two of you turn and see Tony, Ororo, and Sam all staring at you in confusion from the doorway. You look back and smile at Wanda as she clings to your side like she did when she was a child. You momentarily are taken back to a happier time, before you had amassed such a heavy burden of lost lives and loved ones.

"Ok, someone explain what's going on," Ororo demands.

"Right," you breathe and wrap your arm around Wanda's shoulders. "Ororo, I take it Maximoff never told you he had a wife... and twins."

"Wait, Maximoff as in Peter Maximoff? As in Quicksilver Maximoff?" Ororo asks.

"Uh-huh. That's the one," you smile. "Anyway, this is one of those twins, Wanda. Wanda, Ororo here was a friend and... colleague to your father."

"Wait, how did you know about this?" Ororo asks.

"Eli and I caught him staring at a picture of the twins," you say. "He made us swear ourselves to secrecy in exchange for watching the kids when he and his wife had a date night."
