Dipper's P.O.V. (still age 5)

We stayed up until 1:00 that morning. We snuck out of the bathroom into our room. I told Mabel to grab stuff that would be important and easy to carry. We packe our bags quickly and snuck towards the front door. When I reached up to grab the door I grabbed something soft yet boney. I looked up to see I had grabbed dad's hand. He yanked his hand away and brought it down. Hard. I fell down from the heavy force. Mabel gasped the screamed as mom picked her up and drug her to the other room. I was alone. Just me and dad. I froze with fear. No this was not going to happen again. I had swore to myself. I stood up and took the next slap. That's when i noticed dad had curled his hands into fists. He grabbed me and took a swing. I hit him first. I grabbed my stuff and ran out the front door. "WAIT!" i heard behind me. Mabel. I turned around as she ran into me. We landed hard on the ground. "Mabel what are you doing!?" i asked. "Coming with you." She said. "No." I said firmly. "Dipper your not going alone." she said franticly. "I am because mom and dad love you. They'll be glad to get me out of their hair." I said quickly. I jumped up and she pulled me back down. I searched her eyes looking for a reason to why she was doing this. Then she quickly pecked me on the lips. It was quick, but soft. Her eyes were filled with tears and regret. "I'm sorry." She whipered. Then i was picked up. "NO! LET ME GO!"  I screamed. Dad carried me to the attic and threw me in. He locked it from the outside. That's when i realized that Mabel had been stalling me so they would catch me. How could she! She betrayed me. I felt myself snap. I let my emotions go. First I kicked everything in sight. Then I cried so hard. That's when I saw glass. I picked it up planning on throwing it somewhere, but I held it too tight and it cut my hand. I dropped the glass...then picked it up and did the same thing over again. The pain hurt obviously, but it also felt good. I finally flopped on an old mattress we had up here forever. Later Mabel brought up all of my stuff and then locked the door again. I grabbed a peice of paper and wrote Mom, dad, and Mabel on it. The blood from my hand wasn't dry yet, so I stuck my finger in it. I drew an x through everyone's name with my blood. "Don't worry. If you stand in my way I will hurt you." I promised. I will get out of here and when I do they had better watch out.
