Litsquaaaaaad we're heading towards something. Who can predict?

Three months later

"Son it's enough. Do you want die before your wife and unborn child is found?"  Dad snatched the second bottle of Pincer Vodka that I wanted to gulp down my throat. My whole family is in despair. We're broken and shattered. Dark clouds have shown its ugly face with no smiles on us. Grandpa Elliott passed away three months ago with his driver. He had a severe accident beyond recognition when one of the guards called to inform him that Natalie has been kidnapped. We had to organize his memorial service and bury him just within that very week so he can rest in peace. There are countless of times that I've tried thrice to poison myself but all efforts proved futal with my guards watching over me 24/7. The whole family has moved in to live with me temporary till my wife and baby is found. All hope is gone. I want to shorten my life span so I can meet my angels in heaven. Oh Natalie, my sweet princess. Arisca and Celia have been blaming themselves for the cause of all this misfortune. It is not their fault but that of the kidnappers. The entire family waited for me to return from France after closing the deal before they broke the news to me. They decided against informing me as soon as possible because we had already lost a prominent person in the family for the sake of the same issue. We've involved the police in search of Natalie and Two Million US Dollars has been placed on as a cash prize for anyone that will help us find my baby girl. Whether dead or alive because she deserves a befitting burial if she's indeed dead.
Arisca and Jeffery have postponed their wedding till Natalie's body is found. The police search team found a dead body in the Korle Lagoon last week and asked us to come and identify it if its Natalie's. The fishes had disfigured the face of the lady so the only alternative was a DNA test and that proved that it wasn't Natalie. Which means that my wife and child may be dead and disposed somewhere or alive. That's if grace locates us.
"Bruh, let's get out of here for fresh air. Change of environment is really needed now." Steve helped me to stand on my feet.
"That is a great idea Steven, make him have fun." Uncle Stanley agreed to Steve's suggestion. All that my Natalie's mum and mine have been doing is well from morning to evening. I went upstairs to our room and changed into a khaki trousers and a pink Polo lacost. The saying that goes like real men wear pink. I wore Natalie's pink slides and took my car keys. I decended the stairs to meet a happy faced Steven.
"Let's head to the Handyman Store. We still need a few ropes to hang Natalie's banner in small communities."
"Yeah that reminds me, the one in charge of mounting the billboards with Natalie's picture on it called to inform us that he's done with his work at the various areas you asked him  mount them." Steve informed me.
"That's good to hear" I said sadly. "We won't keep long, call us if you hear of anything helpful." I told my family and headed out with Steve.
"Let me drive." Steve wanted to take my keys.
"No I'm good." I told him
"No, after a bottle of 88.8% alcohol, I can't trust you with my life."
"Then let's die together." I continued arguing with him.
"Then I'm not going" Steve said and turned to open the main door to enter the house. I threw the key after him and it hit his back.
"Ouch, you could have just handed it to me like a gentleman." Steve complained.
"I'm not a gentleman" I sassed him.

We passed by my five star restaurant to have late lunch before searching for a handyman store.
"I don't think there's any correct handyman store around, let's head to Aburi" Steve said focused on the road when we couldn't find any proper store around.
"Isn't Aburi too far from here?" I'm a hater of long car journeys.
"It is, but we'll get the correct ropes we want." He replied.
I slept throughout our drive to Aburi. I'm grateful that Steve took the keys from me.
"Hey wake up man." Steve shook my shoulders to wake me up after he found a favorable place to park my car.
"Ah, what's this place man?" I asked Steve awfully when I scanned the area. Couldn't the owner have chosen a better place to locate his store? This place is made up of only trees.
"Man, this is the best handyman store you can find in the whole of Ghana. Just name whatever you want and you'll get it." He got closer to my ears to whisper something.
"Even handcuffs for BANGS!" He winked at me.
"Don't be ridiculous." I said and got down from the car. A man rushed from inside the store a pushed me aside to make way to his car. He didn't even turn back to mute a sorry.
"Hey man, watch where you're going next time" I screamed after him. I felt something on my left hand. Blood! Did he  cut me me something? "Steve, get me the first aid kit from the car." I told him and in no time, he came out with it.
"What happened to you man?" He asked with concern and sprayed robbing alcohol on it. Normally, a fresh scar is supposed to hurt when robbing alcohol is sprayed on it but this wasn't the case. Steve cleaned the blood with a cotton and my skin was still intact.
"How come you got stained by someone else's blood?" Steve asked when he realized nothing was wrong with me.
"Someone pushed me aside a while ago to make way. I think he's hurt but why must he come to a handyman store instead of going to the clinic or pharmacy?" I said with humanity.
"You'll never know" Steve shrugged. "Let's go in to get what we came for."

"No! Let's follow that guy to help him. He can pass out in the middle of the rode and die as a results of not getting a first aid." I objected to what Steve wanted us to do.
"If you say so man" Steve said and we hopped in my car.
"Which one is the guy's" he asked when we hit the rode.
"The third one ahead of us" I replied. Steve drived past the two other cars that were ahead of us. The drivers didn't spare him with their fuck you's and normal rode insults that you gain from drivers when you trespass them. We drove directly after the guy's car but for some unknown reasons, Steve didn't want him to know he was being followed. The guy branched from the main rode and took a very rough rode that leads to nowhere because the place is made of only trees.
"Let's get back" I told Steven. Maybe he's not really sane. I don't want our head to get hit by a stone a big branch of a tree, all in the name of fighting to help someone.
"No, let's continue to follow him" Steven persisted. "I've a feeling something is not right here"
"How do we do that man? If we follow with the car, he'll know he's being followed." I'm filled with anxiety.
"Then let's get out of the car and follow him." He said stubbornly and I agreed with him.
"Let me make an important call first" I called my hospital for them to send the emergency team to my location. I really want to help the guy out. I placed my phone in my back pocket with my location on and picked the mission communication phone the Police Search Team gave to me because one may never know.  Steve took a my gun that I'd hidden in the glovebox.
"Is that needed?" I asked him surprised
"Everybody needs to be protected" he replied and stepped out of the car and I followed suit.
We tiptoed behind the car and entered deep in the woods, making sure we don't cause any alarm. We quickly hid behind a big tree when he got down to to piss. He checked around if someone is really not following him before he went around his car and hopped in it.
"Man, there's nothing that shows that something is wrong with that guy" Steve said the obvious but curiosity had already taken the best of me.
"We can't back down now" I replied him and took the lead in following the car. We  walked deeper into the woods till we came face to face with a white mansion. We his behind the trees when the guy's car entered the ironed gates.
"Such a person doesn't need help" Steve said and turned to leave.
"Wait, why will a person mount this magnificent building in the woods when he can flex with its great achiture in the city?" Something does not sound right to me.
"That wierd though but it's non of our business, now let's go" Steve pulled me along with him in retreating steps. Three gunshots were heard from the house and it sent all the birds flying from the trees in fright.
"Holy Shit" Steven muted. I quickly pressed the communication link to inform the police on our newest discovery. They promised to get there with their team in no time. I hid my phone behind a big tree behind us so that the police will be able to locate us should we get busted in the mission. I rushed to stand by Steve.
"What's wrong?" I asked him when I saw how frightened he is.
"I think someone saw us" that was his only reply before two big dogs were let out of the house.
"Run!" We sped in the woods but we weren't fast enough to escape being caught by the dogs. If it wasn't for the fact that the situation wasn't a child's play, I would have really laughed at Steve's stupidity. Run for your life and there he was, trying to climb a big tree. Tarzan of our time. I laughed in my head.
"Hands up!" Two heavily weaponed guys came into view.
"I said hands up" he aimed his gun at me  ready to shoot. I obliged. Thank God the dogs just catch but don't bite.
"All weapons down." The other commanded Steve and he did as told. I prayed recently within me that my phone shouldn't ring mistakenly. Graciously, it didn't. The other guy snatched the communication phone from my head and searched us thoroughly for any other thing. Steve's phone was taken away from him and he received a dirty slap when he tried to oppose them.
The two armed guys pointed their guns behind us and asked us to head towards the house. Who the fuck are these people?
