In an attempt to brighten the mood of the manor, you decided to bake cookies. Picking up all the ingredients from around the kitchen, you were ready to begin. "Okay.. flour.. sugar.. wait, wheres the sugar-" in the process of looking around for the sugar, your elbow knocked the flour over. "Gah!" Coughing and dusting yourself off, you sighed. "Geez.. this is already going wrong.." Someone heard the commotion from the kitchen, and decided to check it out. "Whoa, you okay?" Demi walked in, her eyes widening. "Im okay.. i guess?" Demi chuckled and said "Here, let me help." You two swept the flour up, and got a new bag. "What were you trying to bake anyways?" "Cookies. Maybe its a little harder then i thought.." Demi walked over to the table. "Ill help you, ive made cookies before." You nodded, grateful for her help.
"Demi- no, please dont put alcohol in the cookies.." She pouted, and said "But anything thats gonna be good has to have alcohol in it!" You laughed at her reasoning. "Next time we can try it.. but for now i want to keep the cookies alcohol free." Demi complied, and put the bottle away. "When did you ever bake cookies? I never remembered you doing it.." She thought for a moment, and said "Well, im sure i have. Im just not sure when." You shrugged, and got out spoons to put the dough onto the cooking sheets. Scooping them one by one, you two evenly spread the dough across the pans. "There. Now we bake them... but for how long..?" Demi opened the oven, and just started putting the pans on the rack. "Oh well, just cook em until they look done!" You raised an eyebrow. "Okay then,, we have to check every now and then though." Demi closed the oven door, and walked over to the counter. "Care for a drink?" She shook up a bottle of alcohol, and poured some in a glass. "...Sure" Against your better judgement, you said yes. "Great!" She poured you a glass, sliding it to your seat.
Who knows how much longer later, your vision was blurry and you were currently laughing about something with Demi. You two were pretty drunk at this point. "Wait- what about the cookies?" You slurred, pointing at the oven. Demi got up and opened the oven door. "Uh- they look edible at least!" You laughed, and stumbled over to the oven. "Eh, whatever." Taking the baking sheets out of the oven, you set them down on the counter. "Demi, i dont think anyone is gonna want to eat these." "Whatever, we had fun making them, it doesnt matter!" You giggled, and grabbed the bottle for another drink.
