Reyansh watched as Kayal walks by, bringing her toiletries and disappeared into his bathroom. He poked his head through the slightly ajar door and noticed the growing frown on her face. He hadn't unpacked his toiletries. Most of his stuffs were still in his clear PVC bag while those that are out were scattered all over the sink. Well, technically, for him, that's how he liked them. The toothbrush on the rim of the sink, his face wash and toothpaste right next to the sink tap and his shower gel was inside the bath tube. It made complete sense, right?"Reyansh? Why are your things everywhere?" Kayal whisper-yelled as she turned to look at him.
"That is actually my system. That's how I like them." He blankly stated while she kept on staring.
"Like this?" She took out an old loofah which he had been looking ever since he got back from the back of the potted money plant on the sink.
Reyansh blinked several times before justifying that his loofah should remain there where there is sunlight and oxygen so that the bacteria are killed and the loofah can help his skin breath.
Kayal shot up up both her hands in the air and threw the loofah into the bin below the sink. She was well aware that the loofah was old and needs replacement. The strings were tearing off and she could swear that there was some odd smell coming off it.
"Hey! Why'd you throw that?"
"It's old and it stinks. I'll give you my spare one. Happy?" Reyansh simply nodded as he watched her take out almost a dozen of bottles from the carton box and arrange them according to their size on the shelf.
"You really are very organised, aren't you Kayal?"
"It's more like my kind of system!" She teased him as she suppressed her giggles.
"Very funny!"
"I was just being honest, dude! You really have a terrible system here! Anyways, can you arrange your things on the top shelf? I think you shouldn't have problem to reach them, unlike me!" She pouted as she handed over his bag to him.
"Will there be space for my things after you've kept yours?"
"Don't be ridiculous! There would be plenty of spaces and besides, this is just for a few days. Once Shruti is back to Chennai, I'll shift back to my room. No worries!" She patted on his arms and was about to leave when Reyansh's question stopped her.
"Are you going to sleep here tonight itself or from tomorrow night?"
Kayal gave it a thought for a moment before answering him. Shruti had mentioned that she would be early in the morning. What if they weren't up by then? She can't afford to clean up her room at whatever ungodly hour that her cousin manages to show up. Besides, it was a Sunday. She would really enjoy sleeping in that day since the next days, she had to be up early.
