Third POV

The staff at the facility later checked the video surveillance to account for the damage when they noticed something peculiar. Some of the cameras didn't pick up any destruction for quite some time during the breach. A few of the cameras had caught the exchange between a D-class female and SCP-076-2. The staff was shocked by his actions.

"Why did he do that?" one of the researchers exclaimed.

"Yeah, he hesitated and acted kindly towards her, even as she died," said another.

"This is strange. SCP-076-2 has never acted like this before. He might have known her before he became the killing machine he is today," the head researcher concluded.

"Wait, he did something unusual, and it doesn't seem like something we would do today, " said the technician.

"Zoom in."

"He wrote something on her forehead in her blood."

"He also put her hands on her stomach as if she was cradling it."

"Hey, what's going on with her stomach?" asked the first researcher.

"What do you mean?" questioned the second.

"Her belly is swelling up like a balloon."

"Wait, her body just disappeared!"

"That shouldn't happen."

"Hey, I think you should look at this," the technician said.

"What is it?" asked the head researcher.

"An extended block of SCP-076, it has different markings on it though that don't correspond with either SCP-076, 076-2, or even 073, they pertain to the bible and are similar to satanic writing."

"Did you say 'extended block'?"

"Yeah, but it wasn't there before. It just appeared out of thin air. I've been keeping an eye on SCP-076 since we started looking at the footage and saw it show its' face for the first time."

"Let's go and take a look. We can also ask SCP-073 if SCP-076-2 knew a woman before he died. Do we have a picture of the deceased D-class? He may recognize her face and tell us the information we need."

The head researcher then left the surveillance room to question SCP-073 while the other researchers left to examine the extension on SCP-076. When asked if the D-class was part of his and SCP-076-2's past, SCP-073 fell quiet and asked to be left alone and that this topic never be brought up ever again; When asked why he gave no reason as to his reluctance in answering. SCP-073 did say the subject was personal and painful. Both him and SCP-076-2 never talked about it to each other or anyone else that asked about it.

Once the other researchers reached SCP-076, they noticed that the extension wasn't there. One of them looked up and saw the extra cube had moved on top of SCP-076.

"Hey, look at the top of SCP-076," yelled the second researcher.

"How did it move without being picked up?" exclaimed the first researcher.

"I don't understand it either, but let's just get up there to study it."

"Fine."

They then climbed SCP-076 only to discover that the extra cube moved again.

"Where is it now?!"

"I can't see it from here. Do you think it could be beneath SCP-076?"

"If it is, then we can't study it, and we'll need to wait. How long we would have to wait is undetermined."

"Well then, let's get back down and report this."
