My Family

"Are you sure you want to do this Nick?" I ask fiddling with my plaid print scarf. I was sitting on the couch zipping my ankle boots closed.

I stand up and go upstairs to mine and Nick's room to look in the vanity mirror. I look at my black skinny jeans and dark blue sweater. I make a face pursing my lips together. I have all my makeup done but lips.

I'm so lost in thought that i didn't see Nick walk into the room until he wraps his arms around me. I jump a little and he giggles.

"Sorry sweetness." He says and kisses my cheek.

"All good Princey. Are you sure you want to meet my family?" I ask getting nervous. Nick turns me around to face him and he grabs my face in his hands.

"Yes sweetheart. I want to meet your family. I understand you're nervous i get it. Just breathe baby." Nick says kissing my head.

"Hey do me a favor?" I ask him and toss him my small lipstick bag for him to pick a color. I flop onto his side of the bed and close my eyes for a little bit. I feel the bed dip down and open my eyes.

Nick is laying down over me but not crushing me and he keeps putting lip colours up to my face while i keep looking at him. He looks at me a few times with a raised eyebrow and winks. 

He pulled out 4 dark and warm colored ones. Nick took the caps off them and held them up next to my lips. Nick puts the cap back on a few and gets a bit closer.

"Go with this one. It's my favorite one on you." He whispers and kisses me running his fingers through my hair. Before i can touch him he pulls away and pulls me with him.

I go to the vanity and put on the color. Nick grabs his denim jacket.

"You like the wine color?" I ask him shocked. He just nods and has a goofy look. I giggle and stop him from putting on his jacket and pull out a plain black shirt.

"One of my favorite shirts on you." I say. Nick smirks at me.

"I think you just like my Greaser look Abbs." He says putting the shirt on. I giggle at him and try to put my arms on his shoulders.

"You're not wrong but if i wanted a Greaser i would've handed you a plain white shirt." I sass smirking.

"Or you wanted to see me without a shirt on." He responds with a smirk. I roll my eyes and kiss him.

"When you're done i'll be downstairs slick." I say walking away.

Wibbly wobbly timey wimey skipy

Nick pulls into the driveway and turns the car off.

"Fair warning. My 2 little sisters are fans of yours. Both of them will most likely be loud. They don't know who exactly it is i'm dating." I say getting nervous. I look at the front door and see the living room curtain close.

"Baby. I'm excited to meet them. Come on." Nick opens his door and while i'm getting my purse he opens my door.

"How did you get over there so fast?" I ask smiling.

"I slid across the hood." Nick says with an embarrassed smile rubbing his neck. I giggle and peck his lips.

I knock on the door and my older sister Lizzie opens it holding my niece Lucy.

"Liz." I say excited. I hug her and take Lucy. Lucy is my little buddy. We watch I Love Lucy reruns together and she loves it when i tell her she has some splainin to do.

"This is Nick. Nick this is Lizzie." I say. Nick holds his hand out to shake.

"Are you good with hugs? We're huggers and you look like you could use one. Practically vibrating with nerves." Liz says. They hug and i hand her Lucy. We come in and stand in the entrance. Nick takes my jacket for me.

I walk further into the house and see Jenny and Charity hanging out in the living room.

"Where's mom and dad?" I ask. They point towards the kitchen while looking at the T.V. I look at the screen and see Spiderman Homecoming playing. I giggle while grabbing Nicks arm and pull him to the Kitchen.

"Anything i can do to help?" I ask startling mom.

"Yaaaaaaay she's home." My mom says in unhuman octaves. While mom hugs me dad stands there waiting. Mom lets go and i hug dad.

"Mom dad this is my boyfriend Nick." I say introducing them. Mom and dad shake his hand.

"Nice to meet you guys." Nick says smiling. I smile holding onto Nicks other hand.

"Oh babe. Are you cool with surprising my baby sisters? They weren't paying attention when we came in." I say. Nick looks at me and smiles nodding. I go into the living room and sit between Char and Jen.

They both hug me at the same time. Nick comes out holding a mug of a hot drink and hands it to me.

"Thought you would want some coffee." Nick says. I kiss him and my sisters aww at us. When Nick pulls away they start freaking out. I giggle at them and they take a picture.

Lizzie's husband Richard walks in carrying a grocery bag. Lucy goes running up to him yelling daddy. Liz follows and takes the bag. I stand up and hug him.

Needless to say everyone got a long with Nick and like him. Especially my dad. So happy they like him.
