(Y/n) glanced over at her phone read the following text I don't know how to correctly put eyeliner. How do you do it?
(Y/n) chuckled. Use tape or something. I'm no good at make up either
(Y/n) recalled the small makeup pouch she has on her small vanity and cringed, remembering how her first attempt of makeup was. "Never again." She shivered.
She thought about the small clues they put about Corpse and small hints he gave off too and her mind ran a mile a minute.
Curly black hair, black nail polish on veiny rough hands, eyeliner, deep voice, apparently works out on free time, sometimes skates and plays videos games and enjoys horror — but literally the most wholesome man to ever walk this earth.
(Y/n) faceplates in her bed and stupidly giggled. "Holy shy Lily is right." She laughed at her stupidity and sent out a few tears of friendzoning herself before he did.
'He doesn't have to know.'
It was around 4:17 am on a Friday when Corpse was findihaed with his new video and began to text all his friends the beautiful video along with a blessed verse by Corpse they always wake up to.
FONKY MONKEY FRIDAY!
He gave a small grin, texting (y/n) but had the sudden urge to text her even if she was asleep, as if to release something off his chest to the girl miles away.
He licked his lips and decided to take the plunge.
'Wait what if they don't like me and I just made them feel awkward the entire day and ruins everything too?' Once again the 23 year old man deleted the text. 'Maybe later in the evening. At night you do stupid decisions anyways.'
(Y/n) groaned and complained to herself about her school work which she did 3 out of her 34 missing assignments. "I need a break." She yawned, wrapping herself in her blanket she washed yesterday out of the blue with energy at 10 in the morning.
She sat on her bed, grabbing her phone and calling Lily, pondering about her feelings and how to vent to her.
"Hello?" Lily answered. "Okay so about my crush on Corpse um,. . . do you think it would be smart to ask him?" She winced, hoping for a yes. "Honestly (y/n), it's how you both feel towards one another and how you two get along and not hiding any secret relationships. Do you know everything about him?" Lily asked, reminding (y/n) about Corpse mentioning of dropping out at 8th grade from being raised in a rough household and tried again to enroll but ended up being rejected again and became a rebellious kid. 'He's almost like some kid of a bad boy crew in middle school I knew.'
"I kinda do." She shrugged. "Maybe you should reconsider. You called me crying 10 months ago and I don't want you crying over someone again. Not because it's annoying but because you're my friend and getting yourself hurt for rushing something you get hyped over hurts me too because I caused you to push yourself with false hope and reality. I really care for you, (y/n). Just keep talking to him." The girl encouraged the girl. "Guess so." She muttered.
Corpse reread the text between him and Seán and the ones between him and Dream. Dream was mentioning about playing it cool and calm and straight to the point and subtlety. Seán was the complete opposite and said to wait justa. Little longer.
His guts and past said to get over it too.
Corpse sighed, laying in his bed.
(Y/n) wrapped herself in a blanket, her phone next to her head.
"I'm just glad we're friends."
Corpse groaned loudly, irritated that couldn't say a word to this girl for being held back by himself but his insecurities and grabbed his phone and so his thumbs began to rapidly tapped across the screen of his phone, texting the (h/c) haired girl. He pressed send and sat his phone on the side of his bed and sighed. He's raised back at the ceiling. "What the fuck have I done?" His voice began to crack.
(Y/n) rained at the sound her phone. She turned over on her bed to go back to sleep. 'If it's really important then they would call me.' Was her motto. She yawned and began to drift back asleep.
Corpse began again texting the girl several times, uncertain if she was at work, at school or at her lucky break, he wanted to be honest to the girl as she was still his friend at the end of the day.
If he really did care for her, he didn't have to keep her a secret.
He but his lip and sent text.
Silence surrounded him as he stared at his several spamming texts. "Fuck! Now what's the plan when she does say yes?!" He seemed shocked as he didn't think that far ahead.
(Y/n) was wrapped in her warm blanket, not seeing her phone light up with the messages.
(Y/n) I'm really glad you're my friend and everyday I keep forgetting to say thank you and you've really made an improvement and effect on my life and so did the others. I just wanted to say I really like you and
I'm not good as expressing myself at words but I guess
Never mind I meant to say I like you more than friend wise
I need to get this off my chest because you consider me your friend and I already hide my face from you and I didn't want to hide something else.
(Y/n) moved her hand on her pillow, causing the phone to fall in between the headboard and mattress as she snores away into the evening.
