Xiangling walked down the streets of her hometown. She was headed to her restaurant, the Wanmin Restaurant. She had just come back from Mondstadt, where she was creating new recipes. She had finally created a dish that managed to mix the spicy flavours of Liyue and the sweet flavours of Mondstadt to create a dish that was truly Teyvat. She couldn't wait to give it to her father, so that they could serve it in their restaurant.
She had practiced the recipe multiple times, and was confident that it would be delicious. She wanted to make sure it was perfect. Xiangling was very proud of her creation.
She had now almost reached the Wanmin Restaurant, which was what she referred to as the "heart of Liyue Harbour". She loved her restaurant, almost as much as she loved cooking and creating new recipes.
She soon reached her restaurant. Xiangling ran up to her father.
"Father! Father, look! I have created a new recipe! I think I have finally captured the spirit of Teyvat! I mixed the spicy flavours of Liyue and the sweet of Mondstadt to create a perfect balance of the two."
"Xiangling! My dear, that is wonderful! Do you have a sample of it already made?" Her father asked.
"Yes! Here you go!" Xiangling reached into her bag and pulled out the sample of the dish she had already made.
Xiangling's father tasted it. "Hmm... yes... it is very good... definitely captures the spirit of both of Teyvat's major cities... I like it! Did you write down the recipe?"
"Yep! Here!" Xiangling handed him the recipe.
"Wonderful. But, Xiangling... these ingredients are very hard to get..."
"I know. I am prepared to go and get them for you. Venti said he'd help me."
Xiangling's father nodded. "Alright, then that's fine. Please go gather enough ingredients for at least ten of these dishes. We'll price them high at first, and then lower the price once we've gathered more ingredients. What would you like to call this dish?"
Xiangling thought for a moment. "Hmm... maybe... oh, I know! Listadt! A mix of Liyue and Mondstadt!"
"That's a great idea! Bring me enough ingredients, and I'll add it to the menu."
"Okay! Thank you, father!"
"Yes, of course! Good job coming up with this! I wish you luck finding these ingredients!"
Xiangling nodded and said her goodbyes as she set out for Mondstadt to find Venti. Unfortunately, she had no way of contacting the young bard, so she would have to search Mondstadt and find him. She recalled him saying he would be performing at Diluc's pub, so she decided to head there.
She began her long journey to Mondstadt. She decided to take the main path, which was a bit more dangerous than some other paths, but would get her to her destination quicker. It cut straight through Liyue, with bridges over the lakes and rivers and tunnels through the mountains. There were hilichurls everywhere, and monster camps dotted the path, but she managed to fight them off. She had grown stronger in the past couple years.
Before, she couldn't even fight the weakest hilichurl without getting badly injured. Now, she could kill stronger hilichurls without breaking a sweat. She had even learned new skills, and was a much better fighter and huntress now, which helped with gathering ingredients.
She soon reached Mondstadt city. She headed straight for Diluc's pub, where sure enough, Venti was playing the Holy Lyre. Somehow, the bard had convinced the Knights of Favonius to let him keep it. Xiangling had no idea how he had managed that. Jean was usually so overprotective of it.
