Be Weary of The Kitsune

The Hokage office cleared out, only leaving Hizuren, Asuma and Danzo. The three of them still sitting in silence while Asuma hummed.

"This village must really dislike the Uzumaki." Asuma opened his eyes and looked towards the two older gentlemen. Nothing was said and Asuma knew this is exactly what this conversation was going to be about.

"The Uzumaki is fine right now. He hasn't hurt anybody, so what is the trepidation about?" Asuma asked and Hizuren sighed.

"So when Naruto was seven, a few drunks found him." Hizuren started, he sighed and turned to face his window, which meant his back was to his son.

"They tried to do the deed, but his chakra wouldn't let anybody get close to him like that and so they started to torture him." Asuma's eyes widened and Danzo hummed.

"He and the Uchiha ended up killing those drunks, and have been joint at the hip ever since, however..." Danzo trailed, and Asuma held his hand up,

"No I don't want to hear it." Asuma said standing up, he exhaled and rolled his eyes.

"From what you are telling me, Naruto had every right to do what he did. That issues doesn't fall on Naruto. It falls on the village." Asuma said and Hizuren spoke.

"Even if he was planning to overthrow it?" Asuma stood there and looked at the duo.

"Well is he?" Asuma asked and both males went quiet. Asuma sighed and turned to leave.

"Get back with me when you all have proof." Asuma said though maybe he'd let Naruto do what he wanted. The way his father and Danzo seemed to be glued at the hip lately might be what's upsetting the balance of the village.

If he had a student that saw and recognize that, there was nothing he was going to do about it.

Though Team ten sat alone in the room. They had been the last team to be picked up, and it might be because they had Naruto on a team he shouldn't have been on.

Naruto was still in his chair talking to Kurama.

"They ultimately wanted to split me and Sasuke up, though it was hard to they seemed to have managed to do so."

"Danzo is sharp, he must've known what would happen if they kept you both together. They already don't trust you both."

"And how is that remotely my fault?"

"It's not, they just seem to be keeping a closer eye on you both." Naruto's chuckled a little and stood up, walking over to Shikamaru's desk.

"I guess I'll play along for a little. I think our plan is coming together actually."

"For a couple of fifteen year olds, you both think like seasoned professionals." Naruto laid on the desk, smiling a little as he looked at the ceiling.

"Thanks Kura."

Naruto just continued looking at the ceiling and Choji spoke.

"Wonder who you pissed off to where you had to put on an established team." Naruto blinked and turned to Choji, He gave him a toothy grin and spoke.

"A lot of people, but don't worry Choji." Naruto smiled a little and sighed.

"I would never piss off my future husband's best friend." Naruto finished and Ino made some noise at the boldness, Choji smack his hand over his mouth to chuckle and Shikamaru scoffed and blushed.

"You are shameless" Shikamaru said and Ino sighed.

"As if you could marry Shikamaru. You can't have children." Naruto opened his mouth and then closed it. Smiling a little before he sighed.

"Sure, whatever you think Ino-Chan." Ino eyes widened, before she scoffed and looked away.

"You idiot! You don't get to call me Chan! Only Sasuke." Naruto sat up and looked at Ino.

"It made your heart skip a beat though, dreaming if Sasuke would say that to you and not Sakura, how that would make you heartbeat loudly." Ino held a shy smile, but Naruto decided to rip that away from her.

"Though he would never look your way. To my understanding both you and him are heirs, meaning you need to have heirs without the clans mixing." Ino gasped.

"That doesn't matter! If it's love it's love." Choji shared a look with Shikamaru and Shikamaru knew exactly where this was going. He place a hand on his cheek to hide the blush that was definitely coming.

"Exactly! So where do you get off saying me and Shikamaru couldn't be together if you are defending your love to my best friend so much?" Ino sat there stunned and Naruto hummed and spoke.

"I'll let you in on a secret Ino-chan." Naruto gave her smile and a wink.

"Sasuke is attracted to power, whether it be in friendship and or in love. Power will get him to look your way." Naruto patted the girls hair before he spoke.

"Satutobi-San, you've been standing there for a while. Why don't you come in?" Naruto said looking towards the door. Smoke soon filled the room and Asuma hummed.

Naruto was sure to keep him on his toes.

Naruto finally made it to the Uchiha clan. Closing the door and activating a seal. Sasuke was making dinner and Naruto filtered his way to the kitchen. It was dark, but all he did was sit on the table with his plate waiting for Sasuke to feed him.

"You know they must have some sort of idea." Sasuke said, and Naruto hummed eating his rice and curry.

"Yes, though he has been seen with Danzo. And while I can't stand to act even remotely kind to the old bastard, he doesn't even know the far extent of my brain." Naruto said and Sasuke chuckled.

"The mind of a Kitsune is a scary thing." Sasuke mocked and Naruto smiled.

"Ino is in love with you." Naruto said, trying to make small talk until they talked business and Sasuke chuckled and sat next to Naruto.

"They are going to be pissed." Sasuke said calmly.

"How so? You have eyes for another? Do you like Sakura?" Sasuke laughed at Naruto's statements and questioning eyes.

"In no way do I love Sakura and or Ino. They are just so stupid that they can't figure out that they love one another and use me to gain the others eyes." Naruto's eyes widened, he stopped himself from laughing.

"Oh to have the brain of an Uchiha. How did you figure that?" Naruto was curious, and Sasuke spoke.

"Sakura was telling Kiba about how much she looked up to Ino for being confident and strong." Naruto sighed and spoke.

"So does this mean you're gay?" Sasuke gave Naruto a look to which he held his hands up in mock surrender, to which Sasuke answered.

"Don't question me dobe, I'll find a lover when I'm ready." Naruto chuckled and spoke.

"Don't worry you'll find your other half! Now let's talk business." Sasuke and Naruto nodded and laid out the scrolls of their plan.
