Keira's POV
After a day of unpacking and resting it was time for my first day of school. I really wasn't excited or cared about it one bit to me it was just another school filled with the same type of people. Another school I'll hate being at and miss when I get annoyed with my siblings.
I skimmed over my clothes in my closet then decided on a dark grey short sleeve shirt. It was tight on my upper body making my breasts stick out since I have a flat stomach along with an hour glass body. I pulled on a pair of ripped black jeans that weren't skinny jeans nor baggy on me either. I slipped on my white low cut socks then pulled the heavy long chained necklace out from under my shirt.
It was silver and it was my dad's when he died they gave it to us. My mom gave it to me telling me, he would have wanted me to have it. I cleaned the blood off it and have woren it since. I only take it off when I had to shower. At the end of the necklace was a silver cross with diamonds on it. I put this on there after my grandmother in Italy gave it to me. She told me it would keep me safe from the danger I liked to walk into.
I slipped my black leather jacket on that was a bit worn out from me wearing it so much. I slipped my phone into my back pocket after putting on my music the song Mama played by Jonas Blue and William Singe. I pulled out one of my AirPods putting it into my right ear. I put the pack and my left AirPod into the side pocket of my backpack. I slipped my arms through the straps then walked out my room.
I went downstairs to see Charlie, Quinton, Alexander, Ryan, and Matty all sitting at the table watching our mom. She was trying to hurry and make breakfast for all of us despite needing to leave in fifteen minutes for work. "Mom," I said pushing her aside and buttering the toast for her "finish getting ready," I told her. She sighed kissing my cheek "what would I do without you," she asked me "never be on time to anything," I told her. "Now go," I told her, she nodded her head then went back upstairs.
Mom was always bad with time management and having six kids while being a single mother probably didn't help. Mom had gotten a job as a Secretary for some well known business man. She had to be there by 5:50 to be there and ready for her boss. Which meant I was dropping Charlie, Matty, and Alexander at the Elementary school. Ryan and Quinton were old enough to ride the bus by themselves so I wasn't worried. But they all knew I'd pick them up after school like a good big sister.
I finished the Oatmeal and toast just as my mom yelled bye and that she loved us. She was then out the door to her new job. "Eat," I told the five boys who quickly dived into their food after I sat down. After eating I told the boys to brush their teeth and put their shoes on. Ryan and Quinton left quickly to the bus after saying bye to me as the three younger ones did as I told them. I did dishes as I waited for the three to come down.
From the window in front of the skin I could see two people come out a house from across the street. A girl and boy my age they were clearly arguing about something but the guy seemed to have won the argument. The girl seemed to have huffed or sighed as he got into his expensive looking car. Made me happy that I didn't date guys anymore after Brandon. Brandon was an ex of mine that cheated on me and thought it was smart to lay his hand on me once. After I beat the crap out of him, I broke up with him and his mother didn't blame me either.
"We're ready," Matty chirped happily as I dried my hands "let's go," I said grabbing my keys. I only have a five seater car, but Mom told me when I pick them up after school to be careful. Of course I would be not wanting the ticket or my car being in pounded for simply trying to not make anyone ride the fucking bus. Once I made sure the boys were buckled up I pulled out the driveway and went to the elementary school. I dropped them each off at their classes introducing myself to their teachers as their sister of course . A few people have mistaken me as their mom before believe it or not. Once they were all good I quickly hurried back to my car and to my school.
I pulled into the parking lot and parked my car like the pro I am in driving despite getting my license two months ago. I came to America first with my mom a while back to help get everything ready. We had stayed in that empty house with a few things as she searched for a job. It took the first month to get a job but the second months was spent getting furniture for the house. My mom tried getting me to attend school but I refused instead I scooped out the city.
I sighed as a few people stared at me through the windows of my car. "This isn't going to be fun," I muttered to myself this school was huge but somehow they could tell I was new. It's like they can smell the new blood or something like that. I got out after grabbing my backpack from the passenger seat I stepped out and noticed a few more look to me. I closed my car door keeping my face blank I locked my car up and head for the entrance to the school.
I looked both ways before going to cross to the other section of cars when no one was coming. I got halfway when someone almost ran me over they honked at me, I flipped them off. "I was clearly walking dumbass," I yelled many people gasped around me, they act like cussing is a fucking sin. What is this church? I kept walking to the entrance and entered as many people whispered to each other around me. I took an immediate right turn into the office "can I help you," said a male voice, I was bit taken back to see a man behind the desk. Not to be rude but I have only ever seen females as the receptionist at schools.
I didn't let my emotions show though "Keira Esposito," I said my dad was from Italy but moved to America. In college is where he meet my mother and feel in love blah blah that boring shit. "Ah the transfer student from Italy," he asked me, I nodded my head "you speak good English," he told me. "I was originally from America," I spoke keeping it short and sweet "ah ok. Well enjoy your first day," he told me as he handed me my schedule. "Yeah," I said then left I went to my locker first and unload some stuff into it.
As I was finishing up is when I heard a few girls hurry by talking about some Gods. I closed my locker and looked to see a huge crowd grow more and more in the school. I noticed five guys with a girl, the girl I recognized along with the guy that his arm wrapped around her. They were the couple fighting this morning I saw. The school seemed to almost be worshipping them in a way as they walked through the halls. Everyone moving out there way even before they reached a part of the hall.
As the section I am in begins to move back I walked away deciding to look for my class. This school already screamed fucking weird to me which I must say is the fastest first impression I have ever gotten of a school.
