My name is Melody Song. I am 17 years old. I have blondish hair. Crystal blue eyes, and deep red lips. All my life ive always had more than plenty. Good food, clothes, the whole works. But thats what happenes when your father is the president of Panem. He took over after president Snow died. But theres something wrong with him. All he cares about is the quality of the people in the capitol. I hate it so much.

So when i was 13 i ran away. No one knew. One day i jumped on board a train heading for who knows were. When the train stopped i found out that i was in district 3.

This was the perfect place for me to change who i was. I changed my name and began living with a wonderful family. They taught me so much, and now im one of the smartest people in the district. Im famous for my red cloak which i wear whenever i go outside. My nickname is Red Riding Hood. But my friends just call me Red, Mel, or Melody. But with brains there comes a price. I have to be very careful with my inventions. My father could track everything i make back to me. I would be a Capitol Traitor.

I would be held in prison then turned into an avox and be fourced to serve all the later tributes. I would rather be in the games then do that. But to make things worse i fell in love. I fell in love with a tall, strong boy. His dark hair and piercing green eyes called to me. I love him with all my heart.

His name is Killian Gold.

I never wanted to get him hurt. To bad my wish didn't come true. When your true love is your partner in the hunger games, you find out just how much they mean to you. Im heading into the games. My family hates me for running away. And in a short amount of time im going to have to face them. Now lets hope ive changed enough so that i wont die before the games actually start.
