Reconnect (Izaya Orihara x reader)

I'm going to apologize in advance because in this chapter there will be a lot of time skips, just because I want to move it along faster and also just because I don't know what else to write about.

~~~Three years later~~~

You all were now beginning your first year in high school.

"Hey, Izaya, Y/n!" You both hear Shinra yell.

"Hey Shinra, is there something you need?" You ask.

"Yeah actually, I want you both to meet someone, so follow me." He says as he starts leading the way.

Both you and Izaya look at each other before following behind.

You were all now outside on the baseball field watching a blonde guy beat up some other guys.

"Guys I'd like you to meet Shizuo Heiwajima, a friend of mine from grade school," Shinra says as you both see a blonde-haired fellow.

"Shizuo these are my friends from junior high, Y/n L/n and Izaya Orihara," Shinra says introducing the pair of you to Shizuo.

"Nice to meet you Heiwajima, I hope we all can get along well." You say before shaking Shizuo's hand.

"Yeah me too I guess," Shizuo says.

You noticed that he took a look at Izaya before giving a scowl.

"You piss me off." He says.

"Oh yeah?" Izaya asks.

"Too bad I was hoping you and I could have some real fun together."

"Shut up."

"Now why you gotta be like that, Shizuo?"

Suddenly Shizuo goes in to try and punch Izaya but misses as Izaya dodges and soon grabs out his knife and slashes Shizuo across his chest.

"See isn't this a blast?"

You and Shinra were watching on the side.

"Geez can't he go one day without picking a fight?" You ask.

"But it's really enjoyable to watch right?" Shinra asks.

You had left school and were heading home with Izaya.

"Can't you try to get along with others?" You ask.

"Why would I want to?" He asks.

"Quit the act Iza-chan." You say knowing he hates the nickname.

"Don't know what you mean."

"Fine don't tell me, but I am you're best friend, so I know what you're thinking and know that I'm here for you no matter what." You say as you walk away.

"Always saying interesting things Y/n-chan~"

~~~A year later~~~

"M-moving!?" You ask.

You only had started your second year.

"What do you mean? Why exactly?"

"We feel it will be safer to move considering how many color gangs are popping up lately." Your mom says.

"We also feel better knowing that your away from all those hoodlums, considering how you're still hanging around that troublesome Izaya even after we've warned you not to." Your dad adds on.
