▪ FIFTY-ONE

Another week had passed. Nahee had a hard time forgetting the incident. She visited Joonwoo everyday at her brother's house to play with him and used him to distract herself. It had been always entertaining to be around the little one.

Then one day, when she stayed with Eerin to play with Joonwoo, Namjoon appeared at the entrance hallway while heaving his breath heavily. He looked straight at Nahee and uttered, "yah!"

Confused at the sudden expression, the girl replied, "what's wrong?"

Namjoon ran to her and then gave a quick kiss to his son. He then went back having his attention at his sister who was in confusion. "Listen, Nahee. Listen!"

She got annoyed but she didn't want to show it in front of her nephew. She imhaled a deep breath and then said, "what is it?"

"I know what happened to you and Jungkook."

Nahee let out a defeated sigh.

"Yah, listen!"

"I don't want!"

"It's important!"

"Say it then!"

Joonwoo's father then asked, "you know Min Yoongi?"

Joonwoo's aunt got surprised when he heard that familiar name coming out from the man's mouth. "You know him?"

"He's my music friend. He just found out that you're my sister."

"S-so, what's with it?"

"Tell me honestly, Nahee. I don't want to argue with you and I'm dropdead serious here," Namjoon stated. "Do you love Jeon Jungkook?"

That deep question quieted Nahee. Namjoon got irritated although he wished he could give her more time to answer.

"Kim Nahee!" Namjoon called.

Nahee cried out, "yes, I do! But he toyed my feelings. It's better if I –"

"Alright, okay! Listen. Jungkook didn't mean to hurt you. I don't know what are the reasons but Yoongi told me he heard him crying and calling your name at the company and apologising even though you weren't there."

"He's faking!"

"Then, tell me why does he end up terminating his permanent contract and uses resuming studies in Canada as an excuse?"

Canada. Jungkook once mentioned about Canada before, however she didn't remember the full story of it.

"Yoongi told me he won't return to Korea." His sister became quiet. "Now, tell me, Kim Nahee. Do you want to stop him from leaving?"

Nahee didn't hesitate. Her emotions was overwhelming. She quickly nodded as her face contorted with tears.

"Now, no time to cry. His flight will leave in an hour

"What?!"

Namjoon released a quick sigh. "Yoongi is waiting in the car. Go now! I'll follow you later."
