The harsh noise from the alarm clock startled someone. Annoyed! The human grumbled as the more it rang, the more the individual pressed himself under the pillow, trying to get rid of the annoying noise, but it didn't seem to work.

Letting go of the pillow, with eyebrows and eyes still shut, a hand went landed on the clock and sending it to fly somewhere. The clock then stopped ringing. Finally, the human can sleep in peace. However, not until someone pulled on the duvet.

"Yah, wake up!"

The person on the bed groaned, pulling a pillow on top of the head.

"Kim Nahee, wake up! Or else I'm not sending you to the college," a man warned, separating the pillow from the sleepy head. His warning got ignored, as Nahee remained unmovable.

Namjoon had gotten fed up with trying to wake his sister up. He slapped her arms hard. The slap sound resonated in the room and Nahee yelped in pain. With hair was in a mess and there were tears in her eyes, she jolted up awake with a glare.

Namjoon must've hit her hard.

The girl whined, "I'll tell eomma!"

Namjoon scoffed. "Hah, why are you acting like a kid? She's not even here."

Nahee just remembered their mother went out of Seoul for work.

"I can call her later!"

"Oh, call her! But eomma won't even care since she's the one who told me to wake you up in any way I want," Namjoon stated as he leaned on the doorframe. "She even told me to threaten you to block your bank accounts. And you know, I can do that."

Nahee still stared at her brother, annoyingly. She then grunted and left her bed to shower.

"Shower properly! You don't want to meet your boyfriend somewhere with armpit stench."

As Namjoon reminded her about that, the bathroom got harshly shut. Nahee wished she could throw the toilet brush to her brother and let him smell instead, but she had no time to fight with him that way.

Her brother had ruined the morning with his annoying behaviour.

The aroma of sweetness greeted her nose as she left her room. She was sure it smelled like pancakes. She clicked the bedroom's door shut and slung a bag on her shoulder with two thick books were on her right arm. Furrowing her eyebrows, she was assuming how the pancakes might have done. If Namjoon who made them, then the house would have burnt. Her mother was not at home either. To see the actual condition herself, she made her way to the dining room.

Her eyebrows jumped when she saw her brother just left the kitchen, had a teapot and two cups in his hands. She doubted her brother prepared these.

She put down her bag and books on the counter, sprinting closer to the dining table.

"You prepared these?" Nahee asked, looking at him in disbelief. Namjoon nodded his head in response. "Wow, I don't believe you," the girl added in a monotone.

Namjoon chuckled. Both of them sat down on the chairs and settled themselves with pancakes and tea. The man poured the translucent brown liquid into Nahee's cup, and his sudden change amazed her.

Furrowing her eyebrows, she touched his forehead with her palm before landing her buttocks on the chair. Namjoon flinched at the touch as he poured tea into his sister's cup.
