Jeongin was slowly walking down the street, occasionally looking over his shoulder.
The day for The Purge was drawing near, and they had to make a plan. A meeting had been called earlier in the morning, and that's where he was heading.
As he looked over his shoulder again, he ran into something, or rather, someone. He frantically scooted away and quickly grabbed onto the small knife in his pocket, fearing that someone had followed him to the secret meeting place.
"Watch where you're going next time Innie, okay?" The person in front of him said with a slight chuckle.
Jeongin let out a sigh of relief upon seeing his close friend, Minho, standing in front of him, holding out his hand.
"I thought someone was following me!" He said as he let go of his knife and took Minho's hand, and stood up. "It's better to be safe than sorry,"
"Yeah I guess so- but everyone is almost here, you can wait inside,"
"Okay," Jeongin said as he walked away from Minho and slipped into the large factory warehouse, which was now the secret hideout of IDOL. IDOL was the name of the large movement he was apart of. It consisted of six small groups, three with boys, and three with girls.
Jeongin was part of the group known as Stray Kids. It consisted of him, Minho, and seven other boys. Each small group then had a leader, and those six leaders were the ones who planned everything.
The leader of his group was Bang Chan, or just Chan, what he went by. These large meetings with all of the groups were barely ever called because the last thing that everyone wanted was for their meeting to get ambushed. Also, for the small chance that one of them gets captured and interrogated, they'll only be able to give out private information about their group mates, therefore keeping their mission safe.
Soon Jeongin had made it into the building. He pulled up his sweatshirt hood as he entered the code into a keypad at the door, and walked inside. It was dead silent, and if someone hadn't been apart of IDOL, they would think the place was abandoned.
As Jeongin walked further into the warehouse, turning this way and that down the halls, he could finally hear the murmur of voices in the room where they held their meetings. Once he made it to the door, he walked inside to see the large groups of people.
Even though he has been in IDOL for a few years now, the number of people in it still surprised him. Especially since they don't let any members join anymore to keep secrecy and the fact that they have to not get targeted during The Purge every year, the number of people was crazy.
He smiled and waved at Chan who was sitting at the front of the room, setting up his laptop, who waved back at him.
He immediately recognized the four girls that made up Mamamoo, another small group that made up IDOL. They were talking and laughing at some inside joke that one of them had just told.
As he continued to look around the room, he recognized Felix, one of his group mates, was excitedly talking to another group of girls who called themselves Twice. Felix had always been in awe of how talented and skilled the girls were, and how they always came up with great ideas.
It was also hard not to notice the large thirteen-member group, known as Seventeen. It was the largest group of IDOL, but no one ever complained or even questioned it.
Sure, it was a huge group of boys, but they were extremely talented. They had so many different fields of expertise that they had mastered, that it was a little disappointing how they were never noticed for it, because of the fact that the members of IDOL couldn't give up their identities. They were the only group that was allowed to go out during the night of The Purge.
