Today was my 3-year anniversary. It was supposed to be a happy occasion but my relationship has been nothing less than "trouble in paradise." We've argued almost every day for about two weeks now, oh I almost forgot to mention, my boyfriend is a whole ass Genin. I mean, technically he's still a genin despite his popularity. Everyone knows him as the tsundere with the Chidori and Naruto's first kiss, yet I only know him as the international skirt chaser.

Now, dating a ninja is pretty fun and has its own perks within itself but it comes with a lot of heartache unless you're quite ready for it. For one, I'm a black woman and dating an object of affection, from girls and guys alike so I get dragged alot. I remember when we first started dating and went public, I got so much heat from his fangirls and that includes Ino and Sakura alike. He has a job to do and I don't fault him but he's overly flirtatious even with the world knowing he has a girlfriend. He still stays out too late and gets texts and phone calls from random women. Yeah, it hurts. The only problem is that I still love him, I still care; so I decided to do something special as a way to apologize and help celebrate correctly. Naruto told me where he would be staying tonight in the Leaf Village and I am going to pay him a visit.

Y/N  finished her shower with a long sigh, the hot water relaxing her taut muscles. The steamy water took her mind off of the stress she dealt with. After brushing her teeth and moisturizing her skin, she put on her dress. The thin soft pink dress came down to the middle of her thighs, a little slit in the side of it exposing her dark skin. The dress was a v-line and unveiled her cleavage, the straps were thin and tickled her shoulders. She paired the dress with her favorite pair of white heels, and finished with a gold clutch. She applied her makeup with a light hand, not overdoing it, just making sure her notable features popped. She styled her short hair, added a thin gold chain and gold studs, and finished with a thin layer of gloss. After taking a few selfies she popped two breath mints and grabbed her ringing phone.

"Hello?"

"Y/N, what are you up to as of right now?

"Nothing 'Tachi, I'm heading out the door, about to go see your little brother."

"Oh yeah, I forgot your anniversary was today. Some of the boys were wanting to see if you wanted drinks with us."

"Yeah sorry love."

"It's okay, almost forgot, Pain is back."

"Wait, Pain is back? What?! I can't believe I'm going to not see him tonight. Drink lots of alcohol and say hey to the boys for me."

"Of course, have fun. Kisses."

"Kisses."

She hung up the phone and clasped the three large gift bags in one hand and her keys, clutch and phone in the other. Y/N turned her body and pulled the door handle open sliding out of the door.

Y/N pulled in front of the house that Sasuke recently bought, the large house was completely dark except for two lights and the porch light. Her heart began to beat fast, just like she did when she first met him, but it quickly subsided when she realized that he would be holding and loving her the way he used to. She pulled the keys out of the ignition and took the presents from the passenger seat, she smoothed her dress out and exited the car. She pressed the lock button on her key fob and gracefully strided to the side door. The whole idea was to surprise him and take him out to dinner, so she couldn't have been seen. Everything in her body was praying he were in the shower and would not hear her entering the door. She jingled her ring of keys until the silver key with red tape fell into her palm, she unlocked the door and pushed the door open with a grimace, entering as quietly as possible. The entire house was dark spare for the light coming from the dining room and his bedroom all the way down the hall.
