Sake (Zoro)

[(Y/N)'s POV]

"Oi, Zoro!" I ran up to Zoro who was sitting against the railing of The Sunny as usual. His hands were behind his neck and his legs were crossed.

He opened his eye to look at me. "What do you want?"

"Let's have a drinking contest!" I grinned.

Zoro closed his eye and sighed. "Again?"

"Yup! I'm certain I can beat you this time!" I chuckled.

Zoro scoffed. "Yeah, right. Keep thinking that lightweight."

I frowned. "I am not a lightweight! You just have an abnormal tolerance to alcohol." My frown turned into a smile. "So? Will you accept this drinking contest?"

Zoro got up and chuckled. "How could I ever say no to alcohol?"

"Good! We'll be drinking sake by the way." I said.

"Sake?" He smirked. "Even better."

"Are you ready?" I asked Zoro.

Zoro chuckled. "Of course I am. I should be asking you that, (Y/N)."

"Psh, I'll be fine," I reassured.

Zoro shrugged. "If you say so."

*20 cups later*

"I feel like throwing up..." I murmured. I looked into the 21st cup in my hand.

"I told you. You can't beat me." Zoro downed his 32nd cup.

"How are you not..." I hiccuped. "... Drunk...?" I put my 21st cup on the dining table in front of me. Not being able to look at it anymore.

"Takes a lot more than this to put me down." Zoro grabbed and downed the one I had put down.

"I hate you..." I glared at him.

Zoro chuckled. "Yeah, yeah. You were the one that challenged me, dumbass."

"You're a monster. Not human at all." I stated.

"Whatever you say," Zoro said.

"I'mma sleep for a bit..." I put my head on the table in front of me and closed my eyes.

Zoro tapped the table to get my attention. "Oi, you should go back to your room."

"Too... Far..." I yawned. I heard him sigh and get up from his spot. Before I knew it, he was picking me up. I opened my eyes and saw his face above mine. Though, his face looked blurry because my vision wasn't focusing. Zoro was carrying me bridal style. "Oi! What're you doin'?!"

"Taking you to your room," Zoro stated.

"I can do it!" I confidently said.

"No, you can't. You alcoholic." Zoro said.

I pointed my finger at him and poked him in his chest repeatedly. "I don't wanna hear that from yooouu! Yoouuu drink WAY more than me!"

"Right." I heard him kick on a door and a surprised gasp.

'When did he start walking over to the room?' I thought to myself.

"Zoro?! What are you doing?!" I heard Nami ask.

"Bringing back this drunk. She challenged me to another drinking contest. As usual, she lost." Zoro explained.

I heard Robin laugh. "Sounds about right."

Nami sighed. "(Y/N)'s bed is right over there, just put her there."

Zoro set me down and ended up covering me. "You didn't have to cover me, y'know."

I could see a slight smile. "I know." He turned away from me. "See ya tomorrow, ya drunk."

"Oi, Zoro," I called out.

He stopped and turned toward me. "Hmm?"

"I'll beat you next time." I confidently stated.

Zoro rolled his eyes. "Sure." He walked out of the room and I immediately fell asleep.

When I woke up the next day, I had a raging headache. "Aw, fuck." In the corner of my eye, I could see three glasses of water and a piece of paper. I picked up the piece of paper and smiled at what was written on it. It said, 'Drink.' in Zoro's handwriting. I did what it said and then took a quick shower to get rid of the alcohol smell on me and my clothes. When I finished the shower and put on another change of clothes, I went to find Zoro. Per usual, he was sitting against the railing. I walked up to him and he opened his eye. "I got your note. Thanks for the water. My headache went down a bit after that."

"You're welcome," Zoro smirked.

I rolled my eyes and sat next to him. "So..." I started.

Zoro raised a brow. "What?"

"How about another round? I'm positive I'll win this time." I smirked.

Zoro looked at me incredulously. Then he laughed. "You are something, you know that?"

I chuckled. "So I've been told. Yes."

"You just don't learn your lesson. You can't beat me." Zoro said.

"Yeah, well, I can keep trying." I nudged his shoulder with mine. "So, what do you say?"

He looked at me and smiled. "You're on."
