Dead Silent (Killer)

[(Y/N)'s POV]

It was a silent night tonight. Well, it had been until it became rowdy from those who stay awake in the night. More so now that new gangs started to make an uprise. The more dangerous new gangs were called The Worst Generation and I just happen to go through that part of town to get to work and go home. Luckily, I go home at night where they most definitely stay in. Oh, how I wish it were that easy. Life is not easy when I go through here. Of course, The Worst Generation gangs were not the only ones here, other smaller gangs would also linger about.

I have yet to be encountered by any of the bigger gangs, fortunately. I usually stick to the side away from them so I wouldn't be noticed. None of them pay attention to me since they're out partying and drinking.

Or so I thought...

I was walking home from work as usual when I heard a catcall. I thought nothing of it as I figured it wasn't for me. Not until they spoke, "Hey you! Woman with the bun!" At that, I turned toward the voice. It was a man with unusual arms. Looking at him closer I realized that it was one of the infamous Worst Gen leaders. His name was "Roar of the Sea" Scratchmen Apoo. Known to have a sort of music-type devil fruit.

"Me?" I pointed at myself.

"Yes, you! Come over here." He said.

"I'm sorry but-" I was cut short.

"Now!" He shouted.

"I don't really like your tone mister." I put my hands on my hips. "Why should I listen to you?" I raised a brow.

He laughed. "You must not know who I am, or you are quite stupid."

I chuckled at that. "I do know who you are, but I am not stupid. You being one of The Worst Generation means jack shit to me." His mouth was agape when I said that. "Now, my bed is calling me, so I bid you adieu." I rolled my eyes as I turned to continue my walk back home. But of course, it wasn't going to be as simple as that. Being the person he was, he was going to attack for being humiliated in front of his little minions.

"You bitch! Think you're hot stuff but you're nothing more than a lowly commoner!" He attacked. I was ready to defend against his attack, but it had been stopped by this long-haired blonde man. I couldn't see his face since it was facing away from me and he had a mask on. Plus, it was really dark.

"Fafafa! Today is the day you die Apoo! You'll pay for what you've done!" The mysterious man said.

"Killer?! L-Let's talk about this!" Apoo backed away.

Killer...? Killer! "Massacre Soldier" Killer, and one of The Wors Generation. A part of the Kidd crew as well. I remember now. So this is him.

"Fafafa! You betrayed us! We're past the talking stage! You die tonight!" Killer said in a chilling tone.

As soon as Apoo turned his back, Killer went in for the kill. He sliced his head right off. I just stood there shocked. Witnessing a murder firsthand was a way different experience.

Killer turned back and head toward me. Though I noticed his footsteps. You couldn't hear them at all. It was dead silent. It had distracted me from how he was getting closer to me. It wasn't until he was right in front of me did I get startled at how close he was.

"Fafafa! Nothing personal but I have to kill you. You are a witness to what occurred here." He said as he raised his weapon.

I smiled at him. "None taken. Even though you're going to kill me, I thank you for saving me from Apoo. Even if that was not your purpose for intervening."
