A fluffy Suga x Male reader fanfiction

"No.. no, not this.. gah! Why is writing so hard??" Y/N mumbled to himself, scribbling out the last few words he had wrote down on his piece of paper. 'Think Y/N! This isn't that hard, just write something good for once!' The boy clutched his pencil in his hand, returning back to jotting ideas—only to erase and start over as he began to feel frustrated. It just had to be perfect.. there couldn't be any flaws in this love letter. If he was going to confess his feelings for Sugawara, he couldn't let it go wrong—it needed to be the best damn love letter anyone has ever seen!

Y/N was broken from his thoughts when the school bell rang, signaling that class had ended. He quickly stuffed all of the drafted love letters into his backpack, before throwing it over his shoulder, a sigh leaving his lips. It was now lunch time, and Y/N could enjoy a nice peaceful meal with his best friend, and hopefully soon to be boyfriend, Suga. Just the thought of it made him giddy, as he rushed out of the classroom with a smile.

...What he didn't know is that one of the letters didn't quite make it into his bag, and had fallen onto the floor, in perfect reach of Sugawara.

"Suga-san!" Y/N called out as he rushed to his usual lunch table, his bento box in hand as he did so. "Hey there Y/N." Suga smiled warmly, watching as his friend sat down across from him. The gray haired male may have looked calm, but truth was, his hands were trembling under the table, as he held the note he found earlier. Did Y/N really feel this way about him..? All this time, Suga just thought he was having trouble writing class notes, which is why he was always aggressively erasing something on his paper during class. Not that it was a bad thing though!! Clearly, from the blush on Suga's cheeks, he had a large crush on Y/N as well. It was a great feeling to know that your crush returned your feelings.
"Suga-san? Are you alright?" Y/N asked, at this point he had already opened his bento and begun to eat. "You seem oddly quiet. Is something on your mind?"

"Oh- i'm fine Y/N, don't worry." Suga chuckled nervously, avoiding eye contact with the boy in front of him. He quickly popped open his own lunch box, and starting eating as well, to not seem suspicious. "Actually Y/N, I wanted to talk to you about something."
"I've wanted to talk to you too, Suga-san.." Y/N's cheeks tinted red, as he shyly took a bite of his rice. This was his moment.. the moment he would finally confess his feelings for his best friend. "You go first," Suga almost instantly replied, too shy to admit his feelings just yet. He wanted to hear what Y/N had to say first. "How about we say it together? So it's less awkward and stuff." Y/N suggested, his heart racing. Oh god.. here we go. "Sure.."

"On the count of three," Y/N took a deep breath, closing his eyes as he prepared to confess. "One.." 'Just breathe Y/N, it's gonna be okay.' "Two.." 'I can't believe i'm doing this..' "Three!"

As Y/N shouted out three, both of the boys stood up and yelled, "I'm in love with you!" at the same time. They were both surprised, their faces immediately going bright red as they processed what just happened. Does this mean they were gonna date?? Were they boyfriends?? This was all so new to the both of them.. Y/N had no idea what to expect. "I'm in love with you, Sugawara.." Y/N said, quieter this time, as he lifted their gaze to meet the others. "Me too, Y/N- I have been for a while.. i'm sorry for not telling-" Suga was cut off by something pressing against his lips, which he soon recognized to be the lips of Y/N. He blushed, and was barely able to register it before it was over. Y/N pulled away. "I'm sorry!! I should've asked!!" Y/N said quickly, his heart racing as he covered his eyes. "That was really rude of me, i'm sorry!"

"Can.. can we kiss again?" Suga asked, looking over at the flustered boy in front of him. "It was nice.."
