"Tom! Tom wait up!" Athena finally caught up to the tall boy. "Are you trying to ditch me?"
"Yes. You're very irritating."
"You don't mean that." She clinged onto his arm. "You're sitting with me for lunch right?"
"Why would I, McClaire?"
"Because you're my only friend. We're best friends."
"Since when?"
"Since the first day you showed me around, silly!"
"I was only doing that because I'm a prefect."
"Whatever.. we're still friends either way." Tom sneered at the girl. He thought that she was very immature and childish.
"Fine.. we're friends. Friends do anything for friends right?"
"Mhm."
"Would you do anything for me?"
"Of course."
"Would you kill for me?"
"Depends."
"Very well.. I like the bow in your hair, McClaire."
"Just call me Athena, silly!"
"Alright.. Athena. Would you like to study with me later in the library?"
"Like a study date?"
"I guess.."
"Of course! I would love to!" Tom could easily tell that she had a huge crush on him. It was so obvious. He was going to use this to his advantage.
"I have to go to class now. I'll see you later?"
"Mhm. Bye Tom!"
"Bye Athena.." Once he got out of view of the girl, he scoffed. "Pathetic little girl."

"What exactly are you studying for, Tom?"
"I have a potions essay due tomorrow."
"Oh. I finished that already. I can help if you want."
"It's fine."
"Ok then.. I'll just go find something interesting to read." Athena got up and went looking for a book to read. She finally came back with a book in hand. She sat across Tom. A black cat jumped onto the table.
"Why is there a cat in the library?"
"Oh sorry.. that's my cat. Her name is Artemis. She's a little baby kitten. Wanna pet her?"
"I'm good and I think you're not allowed to have pets in the library.."
"Oh.. Whoops." Tom held her hand.
"You know you're very beautiful.. I'm sorry. I don't know how to flirt.." Athena giggled.
"It's alright Tom. And you like me?"
"I guess you can say that. Would you like to go to Hogsmeade with me?"
"I would love to!"
"Great. I'll just finish my essay in my room. I'll see you at dinner, Athena." He got up and kissed her cheek, causing the girl to blush. He then left the library. He started banging his head on the wall. "Just deal with it, Tom. You can get rid of her after. Remember why you're doing this." Athena put her book away and got her cat. She then went to her dorm. She squealed.
"He kissed my cheek!"
"Who did Athena?" One of her roommates said.
"Yeah. Who?" The other one said.
"Tom!"
"Riddle?"
"Mhm. He's so dreamy.."
"I don't see the big deal about him."
"What do you mean Diana? He's hot!"
"Yeah. Ashley's right Diana." Athena said.
"I can't believe he kissed you!"
"It's just my cheek though.. but still!"
"I'm so happy for you!" Diana and Ashley hugged the girl. Little did she know, the kiss meant nothing to Tom.
