"Fantastic as always Liv" Mr Clarke said, granting Liv a standing ovation, caving into her ego.

"Okay.. we'll haveeeee, Dawn and Owen next please, reading Romeo and Juliet's lines".

The auditions are nearly finished and you're yet to tryout for Juliet. Most girls have auditioned for Juliet, including Liv and she was really good.

Now seeing Liv's performance, you can't help but feel nervous as you realise what the competition is.

You can feel your hands starting to sweat and my breathing started to rise, by the second.

"Going for Juliet?" You jumped as you heard Liv speak to you.

God, just leave me alone woman

"Ah yeah.." you tried to say

"Good luck, because guess what Y/N? You'll never have what it takes to have a lead role at my school", Liv said.

A smirk crept onto her face which complimented her evil eyes, that sparkled from the lighting above. Your now definite that your going to throw your throbbing heart up, since it was already half way up your throat.

"God, just leave her alone Liv", Paddy said behind you.

Paddy sat a few rows behind you, glaring at Liv with his feet up on the chair in front of him with his phone in his hands.

You suppose he doesn't really have any friends in drama either, considering he was sitting alone.

Liv is stunned to hear Paddy's response, not realising he was listening to your unique conversation.

You could feel some sort of tension building by the second in the air between Paddy and Liv

"Oh- Hey Paddy! I- Um, anyways
Y/N, good luck" Liv says as she glides away back to her friends.

Ugh. What a two face bitch

You look back to Paddy giving him a slight smile, resembling a thanks.

"Alright", you heard Mr Clarke say from the from of the theatre, as you brought your attention back to the front of the room.

"Last one of the day, FINALLY, is Y/N Y/L/N, reading for Juliet",

Nervously, you rose out of your seat and carefully walked onto the stage.
Unsurprisingly you could feel your hands shaking uncontrollably and you tried to tell yourself to just breathe - even though that never works.
You picked up the script from the table that was to the side of the stage.

You hoped and Prayed that your performance was going to be perfect.

Perfect

Ab-so-lute-ly, perfect.

Your audition couldn't have gone better. You stuttered about 2 times, whereas you would normally stutter your whole way through. Although acting is you comfort space, the auditions always get to you.

Mr Clarke didn't give you a standing ovation like he did for Liv, but you were so pleased that you couldn't care less about Liv.

After your long day at school, and a stressful afternoon, you found yourself lying on your bed in your room contemplating whether you should go to Zoe's party tonight.

Your room was quite basic and It doesn't really describe someone that has depression, at all. The walls were painted white and you had your bed with white sheets facing your door. You have an average size desk which was covered with Positive quotes on sticky notes, that your Dad insisted on having and a bed side table with a lamp and a small plant on it. You also had one big window that towered over your street, with thin white transparent curtains covering them. You have a very small walk-in wardrobe filled with clothes you never wear, as well as a TV on the wall in front of your bed, which is basically your best friend.
The only thing you really despise is your plain white wall. Daniel suggested to keep it free so you can put a collage of photos of your friends up there (when you make some)

You opened your diary writing down Pros and Cons for why you should go to the party, while you lay in your sleeping spot, trying not to dose off

PROS

I'll get to see my favourite God there - Ollie

No alcohol or drugs

Miigghhhttttt develop more of a friendship with the bois???

CONS

Liv and her shitty friends will be there

I'll have to actually socially interact with people when I can be at home in my safe and comforting bed watching netflix and sleeping.

May help me get out of my depression (lol imagine)

I have nothing to wear

You sigh, closing your book and giving up.

You reached over to your phone that was laying on your bed side table and you dialled Hope's number.

"Hey girly, what's up?", Hope said through the phone.

"Sooooo, *sigh* I've been invited to a party", you explained

"What?!" Hope yelled

"What?!" Daniel said, swinging the door open to your room.

"What the-", you screamed from being scared by Daniel and giving yourself a mini heart attack

You looked down to your phone seeing that Hope ended the call.

"Your going to a party?", Daniel asked as he proceeded to walk into your room.

"Well- no. I've been invited to one, but I don't reckon I'm gonna go"

"Why not?"

"Well, Technically I wasn't really invited, I was kinda forced into being invited and I just, I don't know..", you trailed off.

A few minutes later, the door swung open once again and Hope was revealed on the other side of the room with a stack of clothes hanging off her.

"Do you know what are you wearing tonight?" Hope said very straight to the point.

"I don't even know if I'm going yet", you tried explaining to her, trying not to laugh at her current state.

"Oh your going", Hope said making her way to your bed to lay out all of her clothes

You pull a kinda jokingly offensive face mixed with a confused expressions to Hope.

"Uhh, Why?" You laughed.

"Well, what do you go to lose? Let's be real, you don't really have any friends at school and even though you tell us that your happy not having any we know your bullshitting. So, what better way to make new ones then at a party. And I'm assuming that boy you like, Ollie, is going to be there, just saying", Hope explained through a smirk, as she organised her clothes into categories.

Daniel turned to you and gave you the She's-got-a-point look.

"I don't know, I've never been to a party before.." You started to speak.

"Hey, worst comes to worst, you just call us and we'll come pick you up", Daniel said.

You knew they were right but, something inside you just said no, that it was a bad idea. Then your thoughts relaxed on Ollie. He was really the only source of light for you at school. You don't want to mess that up.

You sighed before you proceeded to talk, "Okay fine" you finally said.

Hope squealed with excitement as you finally agreed to attend the party.
