Ch. 11 ~ Park Jihyun

Park Jimin's POV~

I woke up after having a sleepless night. I did my morning routine and went downstairs to eat my breakfast.

I opened my phone to text Y/N saying I wanted to meet her.

I also saw a text from dad.

DAD -

Jimin come home before going to office. We have to discuss about something which I would like to do in person.

I furrowed my eyebrows. What does he want to talk about?

Nevertheless, I agreed and made my way towards my garage. I picked my black BMW today and made my way to home.

I started thinking about how to confront Y/N and how to tell her about what I have decided.

I parked the car and went inside the home to find Mom and my dearest brother laughing and giggling while watching YouTube videos.

Oh my god! These people are- Ugh!!!

(Am I wrong is the current song which playing now. When I was writing the words 'oh my god', the lyrics 'oh my god' played and I was shooketh. And I don't know why I was shooketh at the first place. It was just coincidence. Anyways, I won't be wasting your time by making you read this shitty author notes. You can enjoy the story now!)

They didn't even notice my presence. I cleared my throat but they didn't give a damn about me and were laughing and giggling like pyschos.

I decided to ignore them and went upstairs and went to dad's study. I knocked on the door and heard a faint 'come in'. I twisted the door knob and opened the door. I stepped inside and closed the door.

I sat on the seat across dad and waited for him to finish whatever he is reading. He closed the file and removed the glasses from his eyes and rubbed his entire face with him palms and sighed.

"Are you okay dad?" I asked. He looked so stressed over something.

"I've decided it's time for your brother to join the office"

Just then we heard their laughs and giggles which made me want to laugh but I kept a poker face as I didn't want dad to be upset with me too.

"But dad don't you think it is too early for him to join office. He said he needed some time right?" Dad was about to say something but we heard them laughing louder than before.

Boy, you are digging your own grave.

"This is why I want him to join the office. He is old enough to take these responsibilities. I don't want him to become a brat"

I nodded as I didn't know whom to support. Sure, Jihyun is a brat but he knows how to be responsible. He wanted to take up something else as his career. He has asked for some time but he is not putting any effort to find a job.

He needed his time because he dealt with a very sad breakup which dad didn't know. And that's because they are barely on talking terms. Dad pressurises Jihyun so much just because he thinks Jihyun is irresponsible.

"You should make him agree. I don't know how you are gonna do it but you have to make him agree" he said sternly and I nodded.

"You can leave now" he said picking up his glasses and I stood up. I bowed to him and left the study. I went downstairs to see them all gloomy while watching a video.

I went towards the couch and stood behind them. They both were watching a sad video which resulted in their gloomy expressions. I smirked as an idea popped into my mind.

I placed both of my hands on their shoulders and whispered "smile". My brother flinched and got up from his seat while my mom screamed on top of her lungs and ran away from the couch to the other end of the living room.

I laughed out loudly. I can see my brother getting angry but I couldn't stop my laughter. My mom sprinted towards me and held my ear.

"Let me go!!!!"

"Say sorry" my mom said twisting my ear even more.

"Ouch!!! Okay!!! I am so sorry!!!" She left my ear after glaring at me once.

"I have to get going. Bye!!"

"Why did you even come here?? To scare us?!" My dearest brother said.

"Welp, as you see you both were busy watching the videos. I went upstairs and talked to dad and came downstairs again to go back but I wanted to let you know that I came so I scared you"

My mom looked me with wide eyes and my brother gave me a sheepish grin.

"Jihyun, come to office once you are done watching your videos" I said and left the place and made my way towards my office.

I parked my car in the garage and took my private elevator which directly lead
me to my cabin. I pressed my palm on the security pad. It scanned my hand and opened my cabin door. I pressed the intercom to let my secretary know that I came but I didn't get any response.

I checked the CC camera on my screen to find my secretary's desk empty. She didn't come yet. I sighed and opened the files which needed to be checked.

After a few minutes, I heard my intercom beeping and I answered it.

"Yes?" I said while reading the files.

"Sir, Jihyun-shi is here. Shall I send him to your cabin?"

"Yeah" I sighed and closed the files.

My secretary opened the cabin door and behind her was Jihyun who was checking her out from behind.

"You may leave now, Maya" I said to my secretary and she left.

"She is a mother of two, Jihyun!" I said glaring at him.

"Well, divorced too!" he said back smirking.

I shook my head disappointed.

Now I have make him agree.

"Sit down" I ordered.

*Two hours later*

"Okay. I will join the office" Jihyun said unwillingly.

I nodded and smiled at him.

"It's going to be okay." He smiled back.

"You may leave now" I said.

He left my cabin and I continued working on the files. I got a phone call from a client and took a look at the CC TV monitor and I saw Jihyun talking to Maya.

'This idiot' I muttered and continued listening to the client. After the call, I texted Y/N saying I will be meeting her and started checking my emails.

Yes! You have successfully read another boring chapter but I promise you it will become interesting (which is in my opinion) in a few chapters.
