Right now it is raining as well. He opens his eyes. His lungs are burning in his chest. Everything is cold and silent around him. The water is clear, not a trace of mud or blood to be seen. As Ameto moves his hand, small, black fish dive away into all directions. He gazes towards the surface and pushes himself up from the ground. His hand reaches out of the calm water and grabs the jetty. After he pulled himself up, he touches his chest, shocked to find perfectly unhurt skin. Even though his body heals very fast, up until now he didn't know if severe injuries could be healed like that. Looking over towards the forest, he freezes. His wet, bloodied clothes cling to his body as he gets up just in time to get swept off his feet by a slap hitting his face. Having fallen down, he looks up at his brother. "L-Laito?" The older one grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him up onto his feet. He hugged him tightly. "You were gone for a month. I thought he killed you." Is he shaking? Laito lifts his head and gazes at Ameto's lips. Grabbing his chin, he kissed them gently. "I won't allow it." He kissed him again. "I won't let someone other than me kill you."
Having carried Ameto inside, they let themselves sink into the bathwater. When their cold skin touches in the hot water, it feels strange. Laito runs his hand through the boy's hair. "Ame?" His fingertips massage the sensitive scalp, making the other shudder softly. "What happened?" The atmosphere turns a bit sour. "He stabbed my stomach with his arm." The moment Laito touches his stomach, the smaller one gasps and tries to look him into the eyes. "D-Don't..!" Laito seems unhappy. "I missed you." Ameto wants to say something like: I won't ever leave. Or: Why didn't you try to find me? "From now on you'll always stay by my side, got it?" His breath brushes past Ameto's skin as he leans down and kisses his neck. "Promise me." His gaze turns very dark. "I promise." Time passes and they just hold each other. The water slowly turns cold. Ame tries to stop himself from shivering, but of course due to their close proximity, Laito notices. He pulls Ame onto his feet and covers himself with a towel before putting another one around the other's shoulders. Ameto's feet make a cute splashing noise as he follows Laito outside. "These should fit." He gives him pajamas, and after clothing themselves they lay down in bed.The bed is so comfy. Ame sighs in contentment. When closing his eyes he looks innocent and pure. Laito switches off the lights. His hair falls into his face. The thought of never seeing Ame again had almost driven him mad. This... is mine. I'm the only one allowed to hurt him. These eyes... they should only look at me.
Somewhat displeased, he pulled the boy's slender body against his own. Hm? His heartbeat quickened. Why? Even hours later he's still watching his brother's sleeping face. A small smile flashes over his face and he touches Ameto's lips. Chuckling to himself, he caresses the soft cheeks. Then he listens for his breathing and heartbeat, savors his warmth. He likes holding him. He likes it when he struggles against him, but he also likes it when he obeys him and doesn't struggle. He doesn't know what's stronger... his need to hurt him so he suffers and cries, or the desire to treat him gently so he submits himself to me. There's no answer. Of coure not. There's no one that could answer it. Laito touches Ameto's hair. He really hates it's color. He hates it almost as much as Cordelia's hair color. Ameto's hair is soft and short and it smells good. He buries his face in it. It smells like rain. Rain on a hot summer day. Not sweet at all. Not seductive. Just very calming and natural. That seductive scent in his memories however... he frowns in disgust. That scent...
