"Wake up." Ame mumbles in his ear and he begins to stir. First his hand takes Ameto's, then he pulls him onto his stomach. "Ame." Laito's green eyes open and he blows a kiss on his forehead. "Do I have to go already?" Ame shakes my head. "Another hour." He sighs and swings his legs out of bed after Ame rolled off of him. Today he has to do something for his father during the day - an unusual request. When he comes back from the bathroom, Ame steps behind him and runs a brush through his wet hair. A drop of water runs down Laito's neck and he licks it away. Laito immediately grabs his wrist. "Ame..." He looks over his shoulder warningly. The smaller one smiles at him. "It's okay." He reassures him. He doesn't want to step in front of his father with bite marks, I understand that. He turns back to the front. His hair becomes increasingly drier and softer the longer it's being combed, and soon there's no more water dripping onto Laito's bare shoulders, around which he now put a towel. For a moment they silently look at each other through the mirror. Laito been watching Ame the whole time, but when he meets his eyes he smiles. Not a polite, not a loving, it's more like... a dangerous smile. Ame feels a breeze, then Laito is behind him and his teeth pierce his skin. His right hand holds Ameto's chin to the side, the left crawls under his shirt. A groan escapes out of his mouth and Laito bites him again, a little further up. His fingers brush over his stomach and Ame shudders. "L-Laito..." The other licks his lips and kisses his neck. "Do you want more?" He whispers amused and Ame nods. "That will have to wait!" He announces and leaves the room grinning. Ameto's reluctant gaze follows him until he's gone. Then he gazes back at himself. The wide, white shirt that he wears to sleep looks a bit like a dress. It's not like he doesn't have anything underneath, but he still feels the need to change. Today he wants to go to town and maybe meet someone. A perfectly normal human. After so long, he wants to see other people's everyday lives. He's already chosen someone for that. Her name is Amano Rinne. As far as he knows, she goes to Kōtei High School, a branch of Ryōtei Senior High. At the Kōtei, lessons take place throughout the day. Unlike at the Ryōtei, there are not only rich children there. Ordinary people can afford the training. He waits near her house and when she turns the corner watches her from across the street for a while before following her. He pulled the hood of my wine red winter coat deep into his face. Despite the cold, the sun is shining on this November day. Rinne wears her school uniform, a wine red skirt and a black shirt. To be honest, I really like the school uniform. Should I follow her to school too? He had planned to do that anyway. That's why he bought a uniform. He remembers what Reiji jokingly suggested: 'Become her friend.' Of course not! He shakes his head to get rid of the thought. "Um... why are you following me?" He stops, startled. He almost ran into her as he was lost in thought. "I... uh... I am... Your... well I mean... your uniform!" He stutters hastily. "You're from the Kōtei, aren't you?" She nods suspiciously. "I am new in town and can't find my way. That's when I saw you... I'm sorry." She looks at him. "Which class are you in?" She then asks. "I beg your pardon? Oh..!" He takes a piece of paper out of his jacket and drops it because his hands are downright frozen from the cold. She picks it up. "Kōtei High School. 1B. Be nice." She giggles. "Is that from your mother?" Ame rips the note out of her hand. "T-This is from my brother, no cousin!" He explains and almost chokes on the words. Reiji is not my brother, but my cousin! "Ok. I can take you with me. I'm Amano Rinne." She smiles. "I'm Ameto." They walk on. Most of the time she stares at her smartphone while Ame looks at the streets, houses, gardens and people. "Have you only recently come to Kaminashi?" She suddenly asks and he nods. "I spent my childhood here, but after the death of my mother my uncle took me to Kyoto. I've only recently been back in town." Rinne nods slowly. "I shouldn't meddle, but what about your father?" He sighs and a little white cloud rises. "He hates me." He explans it plainly and she stays quiet the rest of the way. Just before they enter the school grounds, she turns around. "Why tell you me that? You don't even know me." Confused, he looked at her. "Because you asked." Looking into her eyes for the first time, he sees that they are the color of caramel. While she is still speechless, Ameto says his goodbye and walk into the school building. Hours later, he's still wandering the city. As it slowly gets dark the city is illuminated by colorful neon lights. The shadows that the crowds cast on the walls of the gray streets seem to dance. He feels the urge to run. He hesitate for a moment, then puts one foot in front of the other. Faster. He's running faster and faster. The cutting wind tears at his clothes and the hood flies backwards. He can hear the pulsating blood in his ears. I haven't allowed myself to give in to an urge like this for a long time. I guess I got carried away. But it's too late now. The roofs of the houses fly past below his feet and he can't stop himself until he sees a car in which he can smell him. "Laito." He pushes off and races with shockingly high speed towards the ground. Oops. There is no opportunity to slow down. If I fall down like this, it'll will destroy the sidewalk. The black car that he followed stops. Subaru steps out and catches him before he touches the ground with his feet. However, because of the sudden stop his head, arms and legs fly forward. Something breaks with a crunching sound. Probably ribs. But that will heal itself. That's the way I am. So is my body. As for the pain... a hand covers his mouth tightly, muffling the scream. "What are you doing here? Couldn't you wait to see me again?" Laito whispers in his ear. Subaru then lets go of Ame, snorting in disgust because of the uncomfortable feeling of having ribs break against his arm. "You owe me something!" He shouts and gets in in front next to the driver. Laito lifts him into the black limousine and the driver drives off. Then he slowly takes his hand off of his lips. "Are you okay?" Ame nods. "What did you do today? Looks like you've been outside the whole time." He knits his eyebrows. How does he know? Following his gaze, he looks down at his fingers. They are bright red, cold and absolutely immobile. Laito holds his hand and the inside of his mouth warms his fingers. He can slowly feel them again. One at a time. Laito's green eyes glare angrily at him. "We're here." The driver says quietly and Laito immediately picks Ame up. He carries him down to the basement and Ame knows exactly what he's going to do now. The mattress he falls onto is hard. I'm kind of scared. He can barely breathe because some piece of bone poked a hole in his lungs. I am afraid of what is to come. Soft leather wraps around his ankles. The cold feeling caused by inner bleeding and the winter air eats through his body. Ame takes Laito's hand. Laito leans over him and with his gaze admonishes him. It's your fault that happened. Then he steps aside and Reiji kneels over him. "Ready?" He asks Ame and he nods through clenched teeth. Reiji touches all over his chest - presses against the shattered ribs - and Ame grasps Reiji's shoulders in pain. He's always so rough! "Laito. I can't work like this." His voice is so cold. Laito makes Ameto's hands let go of Reiji's shirt and holds them over his head. Ame clenches them into fists. Reiji shakes his head and his eyes narrow in concentration. He uses a scalpel. Ame is panting. The cutting is ok, it's ok. "Ah... Aah..! Aaaah!" His fingers dig into the hole. Ame hears a disgusting, wet sound as the flesh continues to tear. Air touches the tissue and burning pain constricts his throat. He opens my mouth in a silent scream. "Breathe." Laito caresses his cheek. "H-Hurry up!" Ame hisses at Reiji and closes his eyes. Reiji pulls out the bone splinter. "Done." He puts a glass to his lips and the sharp liquid trickles down Ameto's throat. Then he gets up and leaves the basement. Ame finally feels himself healing. How the tissue and bones reform and grow together. "Ahh..." It feels good. It feels so good.
