Hermione's eyes shot wide as she released her lips from the man's throat and gaze down at the poor man. The man's throats was torn apart with the bones sticking out of his neck. His dead eyes stared up towards her as if to silently say 'why could you do this to me'.
She knew that he attacked her, but he surely didn't deserve the death by having his neck broken by her own lips. Hermione pushed herself from the man's body and scurried around. She felt a warm liquid dripped down her lips as Hermione slowly lifted her fingers to her mouth and wiped it off.
Even though she knew what it was going to be, the proof of the blood on her fingertips from her own lips made her feel tears start to drip down her cheeks. Hermione's body started to tremble violently before she dashed away from the horror of what she had done. While she ran, she could feel her tears fly off her face as she dashed through the trees.
Scabior pov
Scabior was upset that he couldn't see Hermione anymore, but he still had her scent and kept following the trail. He was following the scent of Hermione from the scarf wrapped around his neck. He could sense he was getting close to her when suddenly he could smell a familiar scent.
The scent of death.
He slowed down his running when he found the body of one of his comrades, lying with his head halfway off his body. His throat was the only thing that was destroyed. It didn't take a genius to tell what exactly happened. Hermione's wolf side was not going down without a fight and decided to rip open his throat. Scabior chuckled while he saw Fenrir slowing down. Fenrir stood right beside him as he kept his eyes glued on the corpse.
"Her wolf side is strong." Fenrir stated with a laugh. Scabior took another smell of Hermione's scarf then sniff around for her. It took him merely a minute to find her trail.
"She's this way, Alpha!" Scabior told her. Without wasting a moment, Fenrir and Scabior went rushing right after her.
Hermione pov
Hermione found herself in an open wildflower field, having to slow down to finally catch her breath. She was huffing and puffing out of her exhaustion. She needed to rest, she wanted to rest, but she knew she couldn't afford to.
Hermione would have given everything just to lay down right where she stood but she knew it would cost her dearly. Hermione was about to run when a sound caught her attention. She turned around, only to find there was nothing there. Hermione knew though there was something lurking somewhere but she just couldn't see them.
She kept her hearing on high alert in hopes to find whoever was out there. She then heard another snap of twigs, only this time behind her. She turned around, but there was still nothing there.
Suddenly she felt something pass her, but she couldn't see who was there. Hermione began to swirl around, trying to hunt down where they were. However, every time she glance to one side something would signal her to the other side of her. It was nearly driving Hermione crazy with fear and anger of not finding out where the person was lurking. Hermione pressed her hands against her temples.
"Leave me alone!" Hermione cried out, pleading for them to leave her alone. Instead, she found her body being slammed against the ground as the world went black.
