Hermione pov

She stared dumbfounded at Draco, who was spitting out terrible words at Scabiors and Fenrir for what they were doing, and what Fenrir had mentioned about him being bait. Hermione slowly shook her head, her mouth shut tight as it didn't even know what to say or to even ask about what was going on. Fenrir must have sensed it because he growled at Draco to silence before speaking.

"What is going to happen is you will chase young Draco here in the forest. Your job is to catch him and then attack him. I literally do mean attack. Bite, claw, maybe even break a few bones. Just like anyone would do in a hunt. He will have a five minute head start." Fenrir explained to her in the most simplest way possible. Hermione felt a sickness rush through her entire body (well at least for her human side). How could he even ask her to hurt Draco? Hermione knew that she hated Draco's guts, but she wasn't going to go hunt him down like he was some sort of rabbit and then rip him to shreds.

"I'm... I don't think..." Hermione started when Scabior moved closer to her.

"Think of it as a free pass to finally get back at this little bloke for all the harassment he did to you." Scabior suggested to her. Hermione was about to object when Fenrir lightly grabbed the back of her head and put her face near the crook of his neck.

"Take a deep breath. You'll need his scent to find him." Fenrir demanded him. Hermione knew that Fenrir wouldn't remove her away from him till she did what he asked. Hermione took a deep breath of Draco's scent (which consisted of apples and some rich cologne). Fenrir let go of Hermione before he released his grip on Draco and ordered him to start running. She watched as Draco ran as fast as he could to the forest to escape them. Fenrir gripped hold of Remus's arm to glance at his watch.

"You got four and a half minutes till you can go off." Fenrir told her.

"I don't think I can." Hermione found her voice.

"Sure you can! Four minutes." Fenrir ordered her. Hermione started to panic. She didn't know what she could do. She couldn't bring herself to hurt Draco even when he hadn't thought twice about hurting her repeatedly. Remus pulled his arm away from Fenrir before turning his attention to Hermione.

"If you do not want to do this, you do not have to Hermione. You are not part of the pack, so you do not need to listen to Fenrir." Remus assured her.

"Actually she is part of the pack. I did bit her after we caught her." Fenrir explained to Remus. Remus's eyes shot at Fenrir when he grabbed Remus's wrist again, "Three minutes."

"I do not want to do it! I do not want to hunt him down like he is some common animal. I personally now what it's like to be mistreated." Hermione claimed to them. Fenrir just licked his lips, glancing again at Remus's watch.

"One minute." Fenrir spoke again, this time, he was starting to get a little bit angry with her lack of obedience. Hermione could feel a few tears began to drip from her eyes, fearing of the thought of even thinking of chasing after Draco and hurting him. Scabior then walked over towards her as he bent his lips near her lips.

"Didn't he judge you to be less than him because of your blood status... I believe he called you a mudblood?" Scabior whispered.

It was that very word that sparked the wolf within her to wake up. Hermione found herself running right into the woods, craving for blood shed. She ran deeper and deeper till she could smell that familiar scent. Hermione kept pushing herself, her teeth exposed as she grew a sense of hunger. Hermione finally spotted him just a few feet away from him. The very sight compelled her to increase her speed.

It didn't take long before she found herself pouncing on top of him. She could hear him whine like a baby, but the wolf didn't care. Hermione ripped his shirt open with her claws before running her nails deep within his pale skin, his blood staining the milky-white surface.

When Draco tried to defend himself, Hermione used her teeth to bite down on his wrist and snap it where the bone stuck out. She spat it out to focus her rage by slamming his head against the ground and back to clawing his skin, nearly removing tons of patches of his flesh. Hermione then bit deep within the crook of his neck, nearly ripping out a chuck of his shoulder.

Hermione could taste the metallic scarlet liquid running down her throat, which once disturbed her was actually seemed natural taste upon her tongue. All the while, she kept ignoring the cries and pleads of Draco begging her to stop what she was doing. Suddenly she felt herself get pushed to the side till she landed right on her back.

"Look at that! She did a number on you, boy." Hermione gazed up to see Scabior, Fenrir, and Remus peering down at Draco, who was now spitting up blood with tears slipping down his cheeks. She could see their many different reactions.

Scabior was impressed with all the damage that she had done, Fenrir had an empty expression so it was hard to figure out what he thought of all this, and then there was Remus who appeared  ready to vomit at any moment. Hermione could feel her wolf side was not finished with Draco as she shot on her hands and knees and rushed to get at him.

When she was a foot away, Scabior jumped on her, rolling her around in the dirt till they were entangled with each other. Hermione was snarling and growling for him to release but all he did was brush his hands against her hair, demanding she calmed down. Hermione slowly started to feel the wolf start to sleep it off but so did she. She rubbed her head against the crook of Scabior's neck before letting her eyes shut tight and fell into a deep slumber.
