Our kinsmen would fight to defend
the homeland they held so dear
Centuries ago their voices were heard
Above the mountains and fieldsHear their voices, sing their song
Do not let their spirits die
For while their bodies decayed that fateful day
Never will their love fade awayVisions of their dearests descended
On their hearts while their enemies drew ever near
The tale of their will is still told by the songbirds
How in the face of death, they refused to yieldHear their voices, sing their song
Do not let their spirits die
For while their bodies decayed that fateful day
Never will their love fade awayThat same ancestral will knows no end as I gaze upon the man I revere
The fire in his eyes keeps me warm and spurrs
The love in my heart for my own sword and shieldHear their voices, sing their song
Do not let their spirits die
For while their bodies decayed that fateful day
Never will their love fade awayThe day will come to once again defend the ones that we hold so dear
Remember the men who kept marching forward
As we continue their song over mountains and fieldsHear our voices, sing our song
Do not let our spirits die
For while our bodies may decay this fateful day
Never will our love fade away
