What's a father's love? I ask
Is it his yelling at you love
Are his hurtful words love
I don't know
That's all I've ever known
His hurtful comments
His daily yells
I thought that was love so whenever he yelled, I smiled.
But as I grew up my smile dimed
Now I know he is no real father
Just father by title
That's my ¨father¨
Once a hero to me
What happened to him
He used to protect me from evil
Now he is the evil that haunts me
What happened to his love for me
Was it ever there or was it all...fake love
