Chapter 30: 'Exit?'

Pov: Henry

I remember building the Funtime animatronics. . . At least, I remember near the end of building them, that being the time I was actually functioning and not drunk. . .

Where's Bonnie? I thought to myself.

There was a Freddy, Chica and Foxy, but no Bonnie.

I couldn't even find the blueprints for him, and I couldn't ask William, because he was too busy with something else at the time. What he was busy with, I have no idea.

Funtime Freddy was the last Funtime animatronic that needed to be made, in fact, he was basically done, except for the fact I broke his hand, and we didn't have time to make a new one. So I got an idea.

A Bonnie hand puppet.

It was easier to make a whole new thing than trying to make an identical hand that would fit properly.

I just needed a basic design, smooth out Freddy's wrist where his hand snapped off, and rearrange some wires and coding, then it would have been like a Bonnie puppet was intended in the first place.

I just had to be careful to not completely change his coding, William wanted the coding to be specific, I didn't know why at the time, I didn't care back then.

And so, I made a basic Bonnie design, built the animatronic, and made sure it fits Freddy's arm and can be taken off if needed.

The only thing left I needed to do was connect Bonnie to Freddy properly, and change the coding so they would have turn on at the same time, shut off at the same time, and interact with each other during performance.

Which is what I did.

The whole project was finished within three days, I had a feeling that I shouldn't tell William, so I did the entire thing on my own.

Surprisingly, it was the day after Circus Baby's Pizza World opened that William found out.

"Henry!" I heard William shout as he entered the garage, I was cleaning it and putting tools away.

"Yes, William?" I asked him as I put a box of spare parts on the ground.

"You made a Bonnie puppet for Freddy."

"And?"

"Why?"

"Because there wasn't a Bonnie and Freddy's hand broke, it was easier to build a completely new thing than trying to make a new hand the exact same as the last hand." I replied.

"You messed with Freddy's coding!"

"Did something bad happen?" I asked, worried that changing the coding caused a malfunction.

"No-"

"Then what's wrong with it?" I cut him off as I put some more spare parts into the box.

"Because something could have happened! You should have told me your idea before you made it!"

"Am I not allowed to make decisions for the company anymore?"

"Not if you don't tell me!"

"Says the guy who decided it was a good idea to make a seven foot tall clown that makes ice cream and balloons, and not expect a malfunction!" I spat angrily at him.

I heard that there was a malfunction with Circus Baby's ice cream scoop, which led to us needing to move the animatronics underground to a rental service, in fact, at the time, we were currently working on moving the anima-tronics to said location.
