Corpse glanced down at his tasks. Fuel gas tanks.

He could meet Sykkuno in Admin on his way down.

Just as he began to go down, the lights began to dim. Soon, it was dark, but something in his suit kicked on. He could still see.

He thought back to what Dream had said.

"Find a kill when I turn the lights off."

A couple crewmates came down from weapons, and Corpse was sure to avoid them. They couldn't see him, but he could see them.

Reassuring.

He waited for a few more seconds off to the side of the doorway in the cafeteria that led downward. Then, trailing shortly behind the two crewmates, was a bright red suit. Rae.

Corpse quickly grabbed her before she could leave the cafeteria, the sudden surge of adrenaline that filled his veins leaving his brain unable to think. With the boost of energy, he found the strength to twist her head violently to the right, leaving her to fall limply to the floor.

As soon as he let go of her, he realized what he had done.

A gag left his mouth, but he knew he couldn't stay right there much longer. He quickly went up to his left into the hallway that led toward the upper engine. He took a breather and glanced at his tablet.

Lights were still out.

His breath was rapid, and he felt dizzy.

I just fucking killed someone.

He took an innocent person's life. He killed someone, with no reason. Rae was someone's daughter, maybe someone's sister or aunt or niece. Corpse didn't know her. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't feel guilty for what he had done.

The lights kicked back on.

Slowly, his feet carried him downward. He passed security, and the reactor, glancing into both rooms. No one. Eventually he found himself outside electrical, where the door was shut.

He knew there was going to be a dead body. No way that there wasn't.

The door hissed open. Corpse took hesitant steps inside, and rounded the corner of the light panel.

Sykkuno was there. He was diverting power. Dream was also in there, keeping a keen eye on Sykkuno while he stood at the power calibration.

Corpse's breath hitched as he realized what could happen. He stepped in between them at the wiring panel. He stared Dream down.

Not this one. Please.

Dream's eyes squinted in response before he simply walked out of the room.

When Corpse stepped away from the panel, Sykkuno waved excitedly. Why is he so friendly?

Corpse smiled, and Sykkuno took a step forward.

Just as he did, blaring lights started going off. Sykkuno motioned for Corpse to follow him.

How has no one found Rae's body?

Corpse obliged, following Sykkuno out of the room. Sykkuno broke off to the right toward the lower engine. Dream came from the left from storage. Just past Dream was a cyan body lying lifelessly in front of the gas tank.

Dream grabbed Corpse's shoulders roughly and turned him away, pushing him forward.

He trailed after Sykkuno toward the reactor, where Spedicey, Poki, and Greaseball were coming into from the upper engine. Sykkuno was already at the panel at the right, and Dream took the other.
