So we didn't go home last week. Thank God! I was glad we got to stay and do another dance this week. I was ready for it. But this week was very busy because I had three interviews to do so our rehearsals were cut short this week. It was stressful but I was determined to get as much rehearsing in as we could because I still wanted to do well this week too. So far we've rehearsed twice but now it was time for my first interview of the week. I wasn't sure what they were gonna ask me but whatever it was, I would answer their questions honestly. The cool thing about this was that Gleb was coming with me. So was Natalie. They wanted to support me and I was okay with it.

I finished getting into my dress for this interview and then I walked out of the changing room and looked at Natalie and Gleb. "That dress is hot." Natalie said with a smile. "Why are you wearing that one for this interview?"

"I have no idea what questions Ellen is gonna ask. I know some might come up about Cole. I just wanna walk out there confident and I wanna feel confident. And this dress screams confidence." I said. "At least I think so."

"It does." Gleb said. My dress had a low cut neck and showed quite a bit of cleavage and it was sort. It was sexy. I liked it. "And it doesn't matter what questions she asks you. You're not the same person you were when you were with Cole. You're much stronger now."

I smiled at him. "Thanks." I said. I took a deep breath and then we walked up to the curtain that I would be coming out of.

"Allow me to introduce my next guest. She's been in movies like Fifty Shades of Grey. She was a victim of domestic violence and she is currently a celebrity on the hit show, Dancing With The Stars. Please welcome, Davina Jensen." Ellen DeGeneres announced. I plastered a smile on my face and walked out to her stage set up with her couches and everything. I waved at the audience and then hugged Ellen before I sat down on the couch across from her. "First of all thank you so much for coming on the show. I know your schedule is really busy with all the dance rehearsals you have to get through."

"Yeah. My dance partner, Gleb, actually is very patient and understanding so we're working through it." I said.

"That's great." she said. "Let's get right into it. The first thing I wanna ask you is, how are you feeling? I think we all saw you coming out with your announcement about the domestic violence. That cannot be easy to deal with. So how are you feeling right now?"

"You know, I can't even put into words how it feels to go through something like that. I mean, I felt very powerless and alone for a long time. There were many days that I wasn't allowed to leave the house because he was afraid of who I might come across and what I would say to people. And I couldn't fight back physically. When you're in a situation like that, you get very scared of what they might do to you if you try to leave and that was my reason for staying." I said.

"But you're out now. How does that feel?" she asked.

"It feels so freeing. I can breathe again. Every decision I made was not mine and now they are and I just feel like I'm on top of the world." I told her.

"I know you're still fresh out of that relationship but is there any advice you have for anyone out there watching who might be going through the same thing?" she asked.

"Get out." I said. "That's really the only thing I can say. It takes a lot of courage and strength to leave but you are capable. It is possible. And there are so many better things out there for you. Please, please, please, find an escape hatch and use it."

"Thank you for that." she said. "Now let's talk about your movie." I chuckled and shook my head. Here we go. Full details for you Gleb. "That was steamy. Very sexy and filled with a lot of things that I probably should not say. How comfortable do you have to be to make a movie like that?"
