                                              The trio had always grown up together. But Mitch was the grade below Scott and Kirstie. It didn't effect him in elementary because the year he started they added a "kindergarten" to the school. It didn't take effect in middle school either as the elementary school and middle school were on the same campus.  
                          But it took effect when Scott and Kirstie went to high school and he was stuck at middle. Then again when they had graduated when he was still at school.  
                          It sucked that his two best friends were in the grade above. He never got to have a class with them. Rarely shared a lunch break. Kirstie and Scott basically grew up without him. 

                          But hey, they're famous together now and work together everyday so none of that even matters.
