Y/N's POV:

After a couple of hours of solid sleep, I got up to see how Danny was going.

I walked out of the cockpit and saw him seated just outside the door. Incense burning around him while he meditated.

"Are you ready to try meditating?", he asked with a warm smile.

I sighed, "Sure, nothing else to do for the next 16 hours".

His smile grew a little and it took everything in me to avoid smiling back.

He moved around and gestured for me to sit across from him.

"No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude", he said (this is an actual quote).

"Alright...", I said, "Thanks Fortune Cookie".

"You remind me of some my last teammates", he smiled.

When I was sat down in the same position as him, he ran me through how to meditate. He got up, readjusted my position a little and told me to relax and to close my eyes.

He told me what I should - and shouldn't - be thinking about while meditating.

"You probably won't be able to meditate for very long considering this is your first", Iron Fist told me.

I nodded softly, acknowledging what he was saying.

I guess meditating isn't so bad.

After about half an hour, I opened my eyes, "Alright, I'm tapping out now".

Danny opened his eyes and smiled, "I'm surprised you managed to last that long".

"What do you mean?", I asked, "It's only been about half an hour!"

"Check the time", he told me, his smile widening further.

I looked at my watch and gaped, "I've been meditating for 7 and a half hours!"

He nodded, "Remember, I told you you'd lose your sense of time".

"I thought I had a rough idea of the time", I looked in the cockpit, "Only 8 and a half hours to go!"

He walked in after me, "How do you feel about meditation now?", he asked, sitting next to me.

"It's alright...", I answered, "But I do legitimately have work to do".

"Well, you have just under 8 and a half hours to do it", he grinned, before walking out of the cockpit. I didn't think I'd ever imagine seeing a cocky monk before. I pulled out an electronic screen from my SHIELD issue duffel bag and logged in, quickly scrolling through and notifications and announcements before I started into my many reports and evaluations of both my latest mission and the staff in it.

The work that I've been assigned is generally issued to people a couple levels above mine, so maybe that's why I thought I'd be promoted to the next level, but considering my age, maybe I wouldn't be let up for a while. Which sucks.

I quickly finished everything up, proud of my ability to write all of this crap in just under an hour.

I got up, stretching and walked out of the cockpit, "Almost 7 and a half hours to go, Danny", I told him, while he was sitting down while on his electronic screen pads.

"What are you doing?", I asked curiously.

"Messaging my friends", he replied, "Spiderman, Power man, Nova and White Tiger".

"Oh, cool", I said, "What was it like?"

"Working as a team with other teenage superheroes?", he asked for clarification.
