Evacuation

Y/N's POV:

I looked around the entrance to the building, already noting two men and a woman looking suspicious. They were all trying to look inconspicuous but failing miserably, especially because it was unusual seeing two men and a woman dressing as if they were going out. Unless they were in a threesome, I'm pretty sure they're part of the Scorpion's brotherhood.

Scoping out the rest of the cloud to make sure they weren't distracting me from any other potential members of the brotherhood, I noticed two dark shapes slowly moving on the building opposite to one I was guarding.

I watched as they pulled out grappling guns.

"Three on the ground, ready to try and force their way in through the entrance and another two about to try and break into one of the top floors", I told Iron Fist, "Engaging now".

Pulling out my gun, I shot the two ninja on the building before turning my attention back to the other three, who were making their way to the entrance. I aimed, shooting one in the forehead with an icer, the other two ran off into a crowd of fleeing civilians.

At least now, anyone in the air is either law enforcement or a ninja.

"I took three ninja down", I reported through comms, "There are at least two more out there, they fled but might return soon, probably with back up".

"Copy that", Danny replied, "I think there are people already on the roof, I just heard an aircraft landing. I'm checking it out now".

"Alright, I'll head back to defend Director Fury, I'm just setting up a tripwire at the entrance now", I told him, finishing up. I ran back inside the building, keeping my icer ready in case anyone made it past Danny or into the building another way.

I made it to the entrance of the room he was in, satisfied that Fury was safe before setting up surveillance around any possible entrances to the building.

Running towards the staircase just before the rooftop, I set up more cameras before I heard an explosion from the entrance.

I quickly rushed back to Fury, checking on the screen I set up for looking at the surveillance, flicking through it to make sure everywhere else was clear, seeing a group of six ninja dressed in black with hints of green on their costumes and weaponry.

I advanced through the hallways and stopped when they were in sight.

"About time you guys made it in! But now I'm gonna have to ask you morons to leave!", I grinned, my good hand grasping my icer pistol, aiming it at them while I kept my other arm behind my back, without them knowing, I got grabbed a stun baton with it, choosing just to shoot at them for now.

Shooting one down, I started to walk forward while the rest rushed towards me, brandishing their swords and knives.

I shot another two of them down by the time they were two metres away. Revealing my stun baton, I rushed forward to meet them, shooting another ninja before blocking their swipes with the baton while I angled it, bringing it down on one of their arms.

Ducking under the injured person's arm, I shot him directly in the back of the end, "That's gonna hurt when you wake up", I teased as I dodged just out of the way of the other ninja's lunge.

Now that I was behind him, he had nothing blocking him from running to Fury.

"Idiot", I muttered, shooting him with the icer, "He just saw me use it on all of them".

I put the stun baton back, it's not a weapon I enjoy using, I prefer swords. 

Scorpion's brotherhood seemed to have pretty nice swords too. I picked two swords up, taking two sword sheaths off  ninja before returning to Director Fury.

I looked back at the screen, noticing Iron Fist had been forced back into the building, eight ninja rebounding off the wall and getting past him while he tried fighting off another group of eight, "How much longer, Director Fury?"

"Another two minutes", he grumbled.

"I'll be right back", I sighed, walking further up the building to the eight ninja that got past Danny.

I managed to shoot one of them down with my icer, but there are only seven bullets in the clip of an ordinary icer, so I put the gun in the holster on my waist as I unsheathed the two katana I picked up earlier.

The seven ninja hesitated as I advanced slowly, confident in my ability to take them down.

I swung each blade in small circles, getting used to their weights as the intruders came close to me.

They were clearly new to this kind if this as I ducked and swiped at leg-height in a circle while two tried to flip over me, before I got back up. I managed to wound both of them and another person who hadn't made it past me, but it was a non-fatal blow, there was a chance for them to get back up and rejoin the fight, so I lunged at another ninja, my sword piercing their torso before bringing the flat of my sword down onto the three other injured ninja.

Three to go.

One of them went for an underhanded swing, one lunged towards me and the other tried throwing his weapon at me and ducking under my legs to get past.

"Amateurs", I laughed, taking a step forward and deflecting their strikes with one sword while I plunged my sword into the left shoulder of the ninja trying to get past me.

They both advanced, trying to get on either side of me as I heard another set of four or five ninja approaching.

I dodged both their blows, turning and plunging each sword deep through their chests, ditching the swords as I picked up another two that were on the ground.

Looking around and analysing the situation, I realised another four members of the brother hood had made it past Danny, if seven had made it past this time, they were slowing down and failing to get past.

I deflected one ninja's strike, spinning around him while I parried another attack with my other sword, then cutting into the ninja's waist and kicking the side of my other attackers leg, bringing my sword down into the crook of his neck, leaving a deep cut.

The other two managed to successfully disarm one sword from me, in return, I violently disarmed one and disheaded the other.

Yes, I cut off one's arm and one's head.

I checked the eleven bodies around the floor, knocking out anyone who was still awake and advanced to where Danny was.

He was literally catching their blades with his hands and shattering them, which is insane!

There were three left, Iron Fist grabbed one and turned him last second so that one of the ninja ended up slicing his team mate instead of him, before he grabbed the attacker by the throat and threw him against a wall, knocking him out.

The last ninja had two knives and tried cutting his wrists, but Danny kept blocking the knives with his hands before he jumped up, kicked one leg against the wall and flipped, using his other leg to land on the attacker and effectively knock him out.

"That was nice to watch", I said, before realising that could have been taken as a flirt.

Iron Fist smiled, "Thanks!"

I nodded before running back to Director Fury.

"Done... now", he said, taking the USB out of the computer, putting the laptop in a bag and putting it on, "Now we should get out of here".

We agreed, Danny took the lead while I watched the back, ditching the swords. If I needed a weapon, I always had the stun baton. But I think I'd rather use my icer pistol to bash someone's head in than use the baton on ninja.

Making it out of the building, Danny guided Director Fury to the quinjet. We all got in just as I saw another group of three ninja approaching.

"We really should get out of here, now", Danny called as I ran to the cockpit, starting it up, "There's now almost thirty of them coming towards us!"

"Just give me a...", I trailed off for a second, before flying out of the city, getting to safety before cruising towards the helicarrier that wasn't breached by Scorpion's brother hood, our objective was getting Fury and this encrypted USB to safety.
