So first of all, I would I like tell you something about myself. I'm Final- part 1 MBBS students from Maharashtra. I have been writing stories on wattpad since May 2017. I'm a huge Edkv (Ek duje ke vaste season 1) fan.

I was crazy about Edkv at that time. So when edkv ended abruptly, I was so disappointed. We wrote mails, messaged the makers daily, but nothing happened... So to divert my attention, I started reading Edkv fanfictions on wattpad. And then when i got some free time from my academics, i began my journey as an Edkv writer. All my previous stories are based on Edkv.

Honestly speaking,I never thought that someday I would write on a show other than Edkv. When my friend recommended me Immj2, I started watching it. I liked the chemistry between RiAnsh and decided to write a riansh story.

Some of you told me that Vansh's character is different from IMMJ2 in my story. And I accept is. It is different because I have never seen him as Vansh. No matter what, I always end up comparing Vansh with Shravan(Male lead of EDKV 1) And if any edkv fan is reading this note, you'll agree to it.

Because Vansh sachme Shravan Malhotra ki yaad dilata hai yaar.. Remember that scene when Vansh said "oops " (When Kabir came to kidnap sejal and Vansh caught him). Kasamse Shravan ki yaad aagyi thi because Shravan said "oops" in the same tone. Even in yesterday's episode when dadi was telling vansh if that thing is meant for you ,you'll get it ,I remembered Lalaji and Shravan conversation from edkv.  Lalaji used same lines in that scene..

When we friend's were discussing this on twitter, one of the Namik (actor who played Shravan in Edkv 1) fan quoted our tweet with "Rrahul is copying Namik. He can never become like namik and Namik is best"...

I politely replied to the tweet that Rrahul and Namik both are different individuals. Some scenes or expressions remind us of Namik but that doesn't mean Rrahul is copying Namik. Infact I doubt if he even knows about Namik.

I'm telling you all this because yesterday someone said that this book "Caged in Love" is a copy paste of Edkv ff "Hum-Tum" written by Piyali Dii crazypiya

Tell me one thing, in how many shows have you seen the sari scene where male lead is helping female lead to wear saari. I guarantee you might have seen this scene in almost all ekta kapoor's show. Haina? Even in Meri ashiqui tumse hi... So Is IMMJ a copy of Ekta kapoor's show?

Remember that Ravan scene where aaryan hides Riddhima inside Ravan... That same scene was in IPKKND2 and KumKum Bhagya.
In kumkum bhagya kidnappers hide pragya in ravan, and abhi saves her. Something similar happened in IMMJ2? So is IMMJ copy of KumKum Bhagya?

Naagin yaad hai aapko? Film industry ki sabse pehli nagin kaun thi? Sridevi.. Ryt? When Ekta kapoor made a TV show on Nagin, did you call it a copy paste of nagina? Is That show really a copy paste of Sridevi's film Nagina?

The answer is No. Though the concept of human shifting snake (icchadhari nagin) and a human's love story and the quest for Naag mani is same... But still, Ekta used her creativity, her mind and made it different. Today Nagin 5 is one of the most watched show of ITV.

All I'm trying to say is we are fictional writers. Hum waisi hi cheez likhte hai jo ya to humne TV wagero me dekhi ho ya kahi suni ho. Kyuki real life me  heroine Ko girne se bachane ke liye hero nhi aata hai. This happens only in serials but we still write it, why? Kyuki humne ye TV pe dekha hai... Haina?

So just because after reading chapter 1, you remembered Piyadii's HumTum doesn't mean I have copy pasted her story. Some scenes were similar n it reminded you of HumTum. I totally understand.
