(Y/n) our intrepid protagonist stood pinned against a tree, with a hand that oozed plasma hovering before his face. Kai'sa the daughter of the void glared at him with eyes that had the intent to kill. Eyes which he had come to adore.

(Y/n) was a summoner, one of the chosen who could call upon the powers of great warriors, legends, and even certain animals which were held in regard to be of great power. Doing battle with other summoners to keep the balance in Runeterra, so it came as no surprise when a new Champion came to Summoner's Rift.

Annie: (Y/n)! (Y/n)!

Exclaimed the young girl, as she skipped towards him with her stuffed bear Tibbers in hand.

Annie: Did you hear? There's a new Champion!

(Y/n): Oh?

Annie: The others already went ahead, they're waiting for you.

(Y/n) sighed, and walked with the young girl to where she had instructed. There waiting for him were champions he preferred to call upon when he did battle: Akali, Shyvanna, Sion, Braum, and Ahri.

Ahri: Hello there (Y/n).

(Y/n): Good morning, so who's the champion?

Akali: We don't know, we would've preferred it if you weren't here actually.

(Y/n) acted hurt, exaggerating a gasp as she said that.

Shyvanna: What she means is: that this new champion, whoever they are is emitting void energy.

In the world of Runeterra, the void was a constant threat. A threat which loomed underground teaming with creatures which had the innate desire to feed and destroy. The young summoner understood why all of his Champions had come, it was for his protection since despite his incredible ability to call upon great heroes, most summoners weren't fighters, they were tacticians.

(Y/n): From the looks of it, we've got time to formulate a plan.

(Y/n) looked around, seeing various points which he could use to his advantage.

(Y/n): Shyv, I need you and Annie to flank the portal use your Ultimates in an initial onslaught if things get dangerous. Ahri, Braum, and Sion will stand by me if the champion gets past Shyv and Annie.

Akali: What about me?

(Y/n): You will face the champion head on, you're an assassin with no equal you'll do great.

Akali looked away from (Y/n), he could've sworn underneath that emerald green mask of hers which covered everything on her face from below her nostrils, she was blushing.

(Y/n): Alright, here it comes.

As the portal began to glow more vibrantly, its usual blue color swapped to a purple one. A champion from the void was coming, the purple beam shot into the air, the champions around (Y/n) tensed.

As the beam of light began to fade, a shape was visible in the beam. Crouched in the middle of the beam was a person. (Y/n) stopped forward to get a better look much to the protest of the other champions. He didn't hear them, he was entranced the second the figure's helmet vanishes revealing a girl around his age, with beautiful dark purple hair.

He could've sworn his face heated up the more he stared at her.

My appearance may frighten you, but make no mistake I am on your side. We will fight to the bitter end.

Was all she said as she stood, her eyes darted around the environment taking into account of the number of champions which surrounded her.

Akali: Who are you?
