Marriage Law | Draco Malfoy

１３. ᴳᵉᵗᵗⁱⁿᵍ ᵈᵃᵗᵉˢ*

It had been only two weeks after the announcement, and of course immediately after the announcement that a dance was taking place,
everybody began to think up who they'd ask, it was obvious who the seventh years were going with, but alas there was a silent agreement that each boy would regardless ask the girl properly.

The first out of the four girls to be asked was ginny, as harry was the bravest of ron, Draco, and ted.
It was rather boring as all he'd done was ask her out of the blue during a date they'd had.

Next was bella, ted who was rather romantic, had written her a beautiful poem and given her a dozen red roses.

Third, was Hermione, who of course hadn't expected ron to be so upfront. But he did it during a meal they had together in there dorm room.

And last to be asked was Delia Weasley who was losing hope that draco would ever ask her,
her and draco hadn't much chemistry, and draco had only started making efforts barely a month ago.
Delia could only dream of having as much chemistry and shared love as her friends had, but she'd been stuck with a guy who bullied her up until the very last moment, and only because he was forced into marriage.

Delia sighed as she vented to her friends which included harry, ron, Hermione, ginny, bella, and ted on a late friday night in harrys dorm.
"I dont think he'll be asking" delia mumbled to the six friends as they all conversed.
"Oh im sure he will, plus we've still got 3 weeks" Ron said as he played wizards chess with ted. Ginny nodded her head in agreement "plus hes coming over for Christmas wouldn't wanna fuck things up before that" harry snorted as ron whooped in victory of yet another wizards chess game.
Ginny nudged harry and Hermione gave a stern look towards harry at his comment, even though they all knew it was true. "Its getting late, I'll see you all tomorrow" delia said with a small forced smile as she made her way to her and Dracos dorm,
which was on the same floor as harry and Ginny's, so wasnt very far but far enough. delia had enough time to think before she gave the password to the door and made her way into their room.

Delia gasped when she opened the bedroom door and saw candles lit producing a low warm glow around the room, and draco holding a singular black rose
he sheepishly rubbed his neck "is it too much...?" draco questioned suddenly feeling self conscious of his romantic gesture
"oh no, draco it's beautiful" delia smiled softly as she took a few small steps so she stood in front of Draco, she took the rose and smelled it looking up at him through her long red lashes "but whats it for?" she said trying to act like she didnt know but, it was quite obvious as it could only be one thing
"would you go to the ball with me?" dracos deep husky voice softly questioned.
A smile made its way onto delias face as she wrapped her arms around Dracos neck and embraced him into a warm tight hug "of course i will" draco smiled softly into the crook of her neck, secretly hoping she'd never let go, he liked how safe the girl made him feel.
How assuring, warm, tight her hugs were.
"Dont let me go" he whispered delia only held on tighter "i wont let you go Draco" her soft voice replied.

"Did he ask you?" ron said as he chewed on a sausage

"Yes" delia smiled sheepishly as she stuffed a blueberry muffin into her mouth.
"Do you two ever stop eating?!" Hermione said breathlessly
Ginny shook her head laughing "what? Im hungry" ron and delia answered at the same time making Hermione roll her eyes "youre always hungry" Hermione mumbled "dont talk with food in your mouth. Both of you!" ron rolled his eyes and nudged delia
"she never stops talking" ron said making Delia snicker at ron as hermione whacked him in the head with the daily prophet.
"Your lovers looking at you" ginny smirked making delia look up to see, draco was indeed looking at her with a raised eyebrow
delia signalled him over, but he cringed a little nodding his head no.
Delia mouthed "please" and gave him puppy dog eyes before he rolled his eyes, making his way over to the Gryffindor table. He sat down next to delia, putting his arm around her shoulder "hey malfoy" ted greeted draco, he just nodded his head before whispering into delias ear "i dont like this"
Delia rolled her eyes playfully "we can head to potions then?" draco nodded as the two made their way to class.
