Dear you,
Do you ever have something that you love?
That you worked so hard on and its one of your proud possessions?
And a lot of other people love it too!
But then some people come by and criticize it. They laugh at it, and make fun of it.
Your heart is torn out and ripped apart. And you are crushed.
This is what happened to me today in art.
Bot: *works very hard on self portrait and it actually proud of her work*
Teacher: Okay kids! Today we are going to look at others art! So go ahead and look!
As soon as I got up i heard this
???: wow, look at her art, she looks old and ugly, haha!
I turn around and when he sees me, he starts laughing.
I look around at other art. Some are good, and some are not at good. Some people I know didn't even try. eventually, i get back around to my art
???: oh, that's Emily's. I'm not too surprised
???: *whispers to friend* Did she even try?
I was so crushed. I was crying down the hall way and on the bus and even when I got home.
So please, if you want to judge someones work, please keep it to yourself. Because even just the slightest comment can really ruin someones day.
