Chapter 12
Evan...
To say I was a little disgruntled would be a total and complete fabrication of the truth, I was totally and unreasonably pissed off that Taylor chose to dine out with a long time friend rather than having dinner with mind blowing sex to follow. I guess I was being a little unreasonable, but we have been attached at the hip for the past few weeks. Now, that I have time to think about my feelings for him, especially since he isn't around to distract me from my thoughts. I found myself both exhilarated but scared shitless at the same time. Here I was irrationally jealous of someone I haven't even met. Taylor has given me no reason to doubt him, and to be honest, he does have friends and a life outside this relationship. How ironic it this shit? A few weeks ago, I wouldn't have been caught dead even saying that fucking word.
"Fucking Hell!" I exclaimed out loud as I threw my hands up in the air and stomped off towards my bedroom to find my cell phone. There was no reason at all for me to sit around the damn house moping like some love sick teenager. I have friends, and I have a life too, but it’s just that I’ve enjoyed spending every waking and sleeping moment with my baby. He pulls emotions out of me that I have never experienced before and the sex, oh sweet Jesus, the sex is sublime. Just thinking about it had me palming my twitching cock through the thick fabric of my jeans.
I found my cell phone on my dresser and I flipped through the contacts looking to see which one of my friends might be free tonight to go out for maybe some pool or to have a drink. My finger stopped and hovered over the name of the one person I haven't spoken to in such a long time. It's a funny coincidence how much he has been in my thoughts lately. I think it's time I at least check in with him to make sure that he was doing well, and I pressed the answer icon and placed the phone at my ear.
It only took two rings before a deep gravelly voice answered on the other end; the voice was still the same as I remembered if not a pitch lower. The smooth cadence of it used to make me cream myself back then by just hearing him speak my name.
"Hey you," I greeted him as I pushed those thoughts back into their place. That side of our relationship has long since been over.
"Well damn, if it isn't my little motorcycle geek," Micah's voice boomed over the line. I was pleased to hear the smile in his tone telling me that he was happy to hear from me.
"Not so little anymore buddy and I don't recall being little back then either." I chuckled as I leaned back and rested my ass against my dresser.
Micah laughed right along with me before he replied. "I was too busy pounding that sweet tight ass into submission to notice."
I barked out a loud chuckle that sounded suspiciously like a snort bubbled up my throat and I chose to change the subject by asking, "So how you doing, you blew through town so fast the last time you were here that we didn't even have a chance to catch up. I would have thought that you would have stopped by long enough to check out what I’ve done with the shop."
I heard a deep sigh before he responded. "I know, but my mind wasn't right back then and I needed some space to figure some shit out and being back home after my tours of duty just fucked up my head even more. I wouldn't have been good company."
"It's cool, I get it. I hope you are doing better now."
"Well yeah, it took me awhile to get where I am now, but I’m doing better. You gotta come here and visit sometime soon. You can meet my business partners and my girl." He said sounding like an excited kid.
I raised my brows at the part about his girl. Yeah, I had always known that Micah was Bisexual, but for some reason, I had it in my head that he would have ended up with a guy. But meh, who I am to speculate? "That's awesome, a girl and a business. I heard you are running a swanky club out there in the big city."
