"Please. Please I need help!"
Bill had been going from house to house asking for help.

As the twentieth door got slammed in his face, he cussed obscenities at the people inside, throwing his hat at the door.

He picked it up after a minute and started walking back home.

Not even the police would help. It was turning ridiculous.

Nobody was willing to side with him to confront the monster and get his daughter back.

It had been three days. Everytime he would explain why he needed to go, they would all turn him down realizing his daughter was trapped there.

They were too scared.
And he understood why.

But he needed to save her.

As he got back home, he started crying softly, not knowing what to do.

He sat down on the couch, hopeless.

As the days passed by, Kate had never felt happier in her life.
What had happend was a real turn of events.

Nicolae was learning to trust a human being and he finally started letting his guard down.

It was so different with her around. He didn't feel that desperate loneliness anymore.

Useless to say she had started a process of healing within him.

The black veins all over his body were clearing out, leaving space to his pale skin once more.

Coming out of the shower, thinking about her, he found himself hard once again.

He stepped in front of his bed and inspected his body.

It was almost clear.
There were just a few of them on his chest, over his heart, on his neck and his face.

He couldn't believe his eyes.
After all these years... he was starting to feel hope.

As he heard noises coming from the kitchen, he decided to play with her.

Still naked he turned invisible.

He asked right behind her.

Kate shivered hearing his deep voice in her head, she smiled as she turned off the kettle on the stove.

"Yes."

He smiled. Close your eyes.

She did as told and stood still.

Nicolae turned her around.

Open them.

Kate was confused. She could feel him holding her but she couldn't see him.

"Nicolae?" She could just see the rest of the kitchen.

As for now, your eyes cannot see me. I am right here, right in front of you.

She kept blinking her eyes.

"You can turn invisible? " she asked moving her hand to find his face and gently caress him.

She needed to get used to that. It was kind of unexpected. She could feel him, touching her, but her eyes would just see the room.
